i love corgis what can i say im 23 years old from colville wa way out in the mountains but recently moved to benton harbor michigan with the loves of my life my boyfriend Michael who is 28 years old and the best guy ever and my new corgi now. we love the mountains hiking swimming camping boating biking snow mobiling four wheeling any thing that has to do with nature or the out door i love plants and love growing plants all kinds and gardening best thing about gardening ruger gets lots of snacks healthy snacks like carrots sweet potatoes ect Im going to be starting school soon for a dog trainer and i cant wait we love animals all kinds we have a flemish giant rabbit him and ruger are best buds and we have lots of fish tanks we are also watching three dogs intell may that are michaels parents dogs they are a lab, rotti, and queensland heeler after may it well be just ruger petter the rabbit mommy daddy and the fish tanks

i have a corgi male and love him so much he is red and white pembroke well they said he was sable he has a lil black going down is back and a black tip on his tail but we think he is more red and white named ruger redcloud or roo for short sometimes we call hime ruger roo too he is 8weeks old and was born jan 23 2011 we got him march 23 he is very playfull outgoing and like a lil pistol hint his name we love taking him for walks and cant wait to go hiking camoing and to the beach with him as soon as it starts warming up.

well the big dogs went back to wa state ruger was pretty sad when they left so we got him a new friend we named stryder he is seven weeks old and pit and lab he is a brindle color and so cute ruger luvs him

Second vet visit

We took ruger for his second vet visit so he could have an exam and his shots the vet says he looks awesome and said they ran all the tests from the first vet visit and he looked great he said we did a great job at picking a breeder cause we had his shot records from the breeder and he looks very healthy and good so im happy to here that he is so healthy and is doing very good and nothing came up on this second vet visit they did the exam and he got his shots and he did give him the tick shot… Continue

Rugers first hike

We took ruger on his first hike i put pics of it up it wasnt a long hike just a shortone down to a creek at sorter nature park it was really fun and ruger loved it he loved playing in the mudd and the water im really happy that he did so good and also that he loved the water causewhen it gets warm were goin to behiking all the time and this summer we are gong to take him to the beach all the time to so im happy he loves water we have been tryin to walk him on a leash everyday but he seems not… Continue

Classes cancled tell next week

Well once again ruger training classes were cancled but when we put him in petsmart training classes they cancled intell april 20 so we switched to one that is called the dog house that started napril5 but was canceled intell next tuesday so in fell every time i get excited about starting classes they get cancled it sucks but it is suppose to be next tuesday for sure and we cant wait

Hey I'm sorry I have taken so long to get back with u but we had to move to Arkansas so that took some time hit anyways thank u for compliment! I have always thought of others before my self And I just couldn't imagine being in that situation. I hope tour agility training goes well:)) let me know how that starter kit is I just mint get one foe Teddy so he has something to do on days I can't walk him. I hope all is well with u

I just posted a photo; we finally got a sunny day on a weekend and climbed a little peak.  The Northwest Avalanche Center called it "Apruary".  All stations reported their deepest snowpacks by the end of April.  Averaqge monthly freezing levels dropped from Jan thru April.  I hope to take Al skiing Saturday.  High avalanche danger last weekend due to all the recent snow.  The gardens are a month behind at least. 

With $4+ gas, many mountain areas are beyond reach.

At this time of year, I miss the eastern deciduous forests with their birdlife (the PNW has nowhere near the diversity there is out east).  But what few warblers we do have are migrating through our yard.  I build a starling-resistant flicker box, and a flicker has set up shop!  I hope he finds a girlfriend.

Thank u very much:) we r training him to be a therapy dog because I want to make people who r in the hospital happy. Especially the children who have cancer and such. My heart goes out to them as I couldnt imagine going through that. We also the wounded veterans since my hubby is in the military : ) Teddy just loves people so l know this will be great for him and wear him out too lol that's awesome u r going to do agility with him! He will love it and it will wear him out so u can relax. When did u want to start taking him to agility? I bet he will do great.

I do think the dogs enjoy variety, but y'know what? They'll settle for a walk around the neighborhood.
Look out for skunks and porcupines (Leave It!).
The great thing about hiking is: off-leash! I keep them close; that's their inclination anyway.

o yeah puppies grow up so fast so be sure to take lots and lots of pics:) teddy is doing great. if u havnt seen my page or the post i made we took teddy in to the Smithsonian museums to get some therapy training in. my husband and i and of course teddy had a blast! he loved the attention from everyone especially from the kids lol and we are about to ,move to AR next week and we have signed him up to take his canine good citizen class/test and the instructor said that teddy sounded like a perfect pupil which made my husband and i feel very proud lol

thank you so very much for all the info:) i will have to check this out as i am very interested. im happy its positive training as thats what i believe in. that is a great price for it to as at peto it costs 1,500 to train me, even though its for free for me
