Hi,
This is just a blog of something strange I found last night on my floor next to Chloe. Chloe occasionally vomits from her antibiotics, so when I found this long worm I thought for sure she had roundworm. I took a pic of the thing, but could not find any dog worms that looked like this. Anyone hear of a land planarian? Or a hammerhead? Bipalium Kewense? If I can attach 2 pics I'll show you my pic & the internet pic. I called vet last night freaking out about this thing,…

Yes, it is true. On 9/7/11 at 6:00 p.m. Isabella swallowed a sewing needle. YIKES! I saw something in her mouth, got to her, opened her mouth, saw what loooked like a needle or pin, reached for it...gulp, it was GONE! She certainly is a canine vaccuum cleaner with a bite like a vice grip...She has done well with "drop it" and had gotten many other unsavory things in her mouth, but…

I first noticed these sores two weeks ago. Since then it seems a new one pops up every 2 days or so, mostly on his back/on his spine but now I have found two or three on his side. They do not cause discomfort to him when I touch them (to clean). When I pet him I notice a scab (ranging from the size of a small pea to the size of a pebble) and it is easy to break apart, also the hair is easy to come out when I pull the scabs off. I put neosporin on them at first, now I am leaving them alone in…

Today is my 1st nephew's 1st birthday. He was born on 9/11 last year and I always had a small fear that the horror of that day would forever cast a shadow over his birthday - but it doesn't. He is an example of life moving on.
We had a party at my cousin's farm and Bear and Goldy were great with him and all of the other kids that showed up! Bear fetched the Nerf football for the older kids when they missed the catch and even dropped it when asked.
My…

I need help! I would like to create a t-shirt with all kinds of 'corgi-isms'. So far I have 'derp, bunny butt, cow spot' and others.
I would like to polish it up real nice and sell them. Once the final version is done, I'll post it. Thanks for your help!

LeeLoo and I met Winston at the 9/3 Ohio Valley Pembroke Welsh Corgi rescue event. He's a beautiful dog! A little shy, but he came around just in the few hours we were with him.
This rescue is amazing to work with. We live in Southern Indiana and even though our dog was originally in Ohio, we worked it out to meet half way in Kentucky. Don't ever let distance get between you and the dog of your dreams!
BTW, LeeLoo is curled up between my legs asleep and snoring but I'm…

Harrison went to the vet today for his 12 week puppy shots. It was also the first time I took him out by myself. I packed my bag with his paperwork, banana treats, and squirrel squeak toy. My plan was, to keep him entertained.. WRONG. lol . Overall he did good, he was really excited to see other puppies, but started barking at the furry pups when they wouldn't play with him.
I still haven't gotten use to people asking me what kind of breed he is, and even after I tell them, they…

Hi, just to let everyone know whats new for Solomon and Me. This will be my first Winter with Solomon and I am looking forward to all the fun that we can have this winter. The days are getting shorter here and the nights a little cooler. I live on Lake Hartwell and everyone has gone home and we stay year round. So it is quiet and peaceful in the evening. When I get home I take Solomon down to the lakes edge to run and play in…

I have a friend in Michigan state who has a pemmy bitch for rehoming. Apparently she prefers to be on her own but will tollerate other smaller dogs and corgis. She prefers not to be with larger dogs.
If you are interested and require further information please reply to 0269 978 8603.

Brought home Wylie this morning. He was scheduled to be put down by the local police department, but I was able to go get him. Tomorrow we will be driving him up to Clear Lake where he will be picked up and taken to his new foster family. He has been an awesome little guy so far. No aggression whatsoever, having great fun playing with Frosty. Happiest little dude I think I have ever seen!

I don't know how or why it happened but suddenly we're in a new place. The old house we lived in with the nasty cat and the old grumpy dog and the other spazzy weird dog went away. We sat in a small metal box with momma and poppa for like, a really long time and when we got out, it wasn't hot anymore and there was no more dirt.
Now there are really tall trees and we have a park with lots of grass and flowers and a place to walk next to a big water, bigger than any water I ever…

NEW UPDATE: The red ones are now sold out, but I have 4 of the black/gray left. The colors are great for fall/Halloween :)

UPDATE: It's now been a year since Sidney's hip went out and he had FHO surgery!
We had to borrow to pay for his surgery, and thanks to my friend Julie who made bandanas, and Jeff who took photos, we made a dent in the money needed for surgery. Now we need to finish paying off…

I took Scout to meet her new vet, renew her trifexis subscription, and get her kennel cough vaccine (for when I board her) this afternoon. She was a great patient. The Techs said they heard that corgis were sometimes difficult at the vets, but that Scout was perfect! Yay for her putting a good "word" out for the breed.
Also, Trevor the foster was neutered today! He's spending the night in Evansville, but tomorrow he comes back here to hopefully be housetrained easier.

One summer afternoon, Jerry went missing, sending our family into an absolute panic. We called all our neighbors, we walked all around... no Jerry. Then about 8:00 at night we get a phone call. Well, it turns out Jerry was picked up by the dog catcher. We drive over to pick up Jerry. The animal…
