Well Riley was looking thin, things were looking grim so I prayed for my baby again, I read healing scriptures over him and he got excited and full of energy. Then a few moments later he ate his dog food and gobbled it down.He hasnt ate his dry dog food in weeks! His teeth have been bloody with sores so he hasnt wanted to chew. Well after everyones prayers I looked and his teeth were completly healed! He has no more sores in his mouth! Please keep praying for him it is working! He is so full of…

On September 7th, 2008 Reese attended our nephew's first birthday party. Not only was it her first time around babies it was her first party! Matt and I were a little nervous and didn't know how well she was going to take to the little babies. We're so fortunate to have such a wonderful dog. She was great with all the people and babies around. She did a meet and greet with just about everyone and loved every minute of it. Her little nub was just wiggling the majority of the day. Reese was…

So we had a great time up north visiting the family. Junebug and Elvis love going to the farm, where there are tons of things to do and places to go. They are natural farm dogs, going with you everywhere, and happy to come in and nap when the work is done.
My parents have three dogs, one of them a hefty black lab (Bug--yeah, I know it's wierd to have two!) that is either very poorly socialized or just plain slow of mind. Mom plans to visit during pheasant hunting season, and was all…

So, here is the story
Our cat is still very jealous to our dog. She does not hiss at him that much like it was at the first days, but still... She follows him everywhere and hisses, she drinks out of his bowl, she tries to took over his toys...
Recently she even had some rest in his crate! So, we realized that she might want to have a new "cat's house". We went ahead and bought her a fancy-shmancy cat's house at the Petsmart. To our surprise, she didn't like it! She went…

I think it would be great if we could get together at the Alimagnet Dog park in Burnsville, MN on Sunday September 21st. Say around 1pm? This will be Ein's second time at the dog park and his first since he was neutered.

This is the best $40.00 I have spent on Madog yet. I never sit on the front porch always using the back one. But there is more for Madog to see in sitting out front and since we live in the hood there is no need putting something expensive out there.
I got a small Adirondack Chair with missing screws made out of crappy MDF at the Discount Builders and slapped a chair cushion from a different chair on it. The cushion fit better upside down so we went with it... tossed it on the front…

Yesterday, we took Mac to the 12th Annual Southern California Corgi Picnic. It's a chance for Corgi owners and their dogs to get together while fund raising for Corgiaid, a Corgi rescue organization.
I'm not sure how many Corgis came but there were at least a few dozen. Owners of nearly 70 Corgis sent their RSVP to attend.
It was held at Johnny Carson Park in Burbank, California, across the street from NBC studios. Though the location is a regular park as opposed to an…

Before you know it Halloween will be here! Debating whether or not to bring Lance along trick or treating with the kids, that could be fun, or could be more work than fun. Not sure how he is going to like everyone dressed up in costumes! I think it would be fun to dress him up and bring him along for the walk. All the strange costumes could put Lance in a very barky mood. Hmmm...well I have awhile to think about it. What is everyone elses experience with Halloween and their corgi? Maybe I will…

Ok so, Didi and I were playing fetch on the driveway. I threw the ball and it went behind my car so that Didi had to go on the other side where I couldn't see her. Just as she went around the side, a motor cycle passed. She burst back into view barking and with her fur all sticking up.
I thought that the motorcycle sound bounced off the garage and sounded like it was coming from inside and startled her. I made her come to me and sit-stay while I went to go get the ball. As I was walking to…

Poor Didi had to have a flea bath today. She was very unhappy. She smells super clean though, and all the fleas that got on her when she was playing in the sand pit have fallen off, so it was worth it.
I've been sick the whole week so the puppy hasn't had any walks or park visits. She hasn't even gotten to go in the car while I made errands. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be feeling a lot better and we'll make it to the dog park.

Well we just got back from our family vacation in time for the Puyallup Fair. We live uncomfortably close to the fairgrounds so we haven't had a proper walk today because the town is now full of crazies and that isn't good to walk around in with scary drivers and weird people. We'll be going to the park alot I guess for the next few weeks.
Vacation was so much fun. Owen got LOTS of family time. We went up to La Conner and spent a few days bumming around Deception Pass. Owen got his…

I apprecaite being introducted to the concept of frapping - how well that describes what had previously been difficult to share.
Last night we had Hillary out with Peanut, our cocker-maltese and Hillary herded her from one end of the front year to the other! (Of course Peanut was not at all happy that Hillary was being so pushy!)
She seems to have a good share of Corgi genes for a Corgle.

Well we have successfully passed through our first heat cycle.. But as of late, we've moved and now I'm in a place with carpet.. so I am really dreading her having another. I heard that it isn't good to get a dog fixed after she's already gone through her first heat cycle.. Is this true? I want to get her fixed, but I was financially unable to... Not sure what to do? Also what's the procedure like for a female dog and how much would it run?
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.

Rosey went Winners Bitch and Best Of Winners August 28th at Central Maine Kennel Club for a 3 point major towards her Championship! This leaves her needing one more Major to be a Champion! We are all pretty proud of our girl this year with all the lovely puppies of hers doing so well in the ring. GO ROSEY! Pictured with Joan Scott PHA and Jaqueline Stacy…

Wally's got an infection :( He's currently with the doctor for a few hours. They had to put him under anesthesia for a bit so they could drain the pus and whatnot from the infection.
He's gonna be walking around with some tube in his arm for the next few days so that the pus can drain. Boo :(

I was reminded today of a corgi trait... the rear end. I was watching Le-Le walk away from me and amazed at the cuteness quality. Being a cardigan it is all about the tail. Her tail was sashaying back and forth. Just a happy dog out in the world. Her tail goes in circles when she get excited. Her tail tells a story of how happy she is, up high and swaying as she walks or when nervous it goes down and under so she looks like a Pembroke. When she takes her wild runs it curls up tighter to her…
