I wonder what it was like to raise a dog back in the old days when you had to go to work and leave your dog at home on its own..well I wonder no more because with my friend's help, I can watch him when I am at work. That's right, Corgi web cam is the solution of the year 2008.
It works quite well actually, you would just remote desktop into your home computer and monitor the activities. I wonder if i can slowly just leave him outside of his crate and observe his behavoirs…

Ok still got a long way to go with pee pee, but doo doos have been good and dropped off on the diaper. Rambo pee'd on me today when we went to see my friends. Oh that guy! I believe he is doing better and better everyday. I am going to be more persistent with him too. I think he and I are both in a good learning process!
Man, he sure can sleep! I guess that's like owner like dog. lol

Theory meets reality!
I think I was naive to get a puppy but I also think it's good to start some where some time in my life to accept this new responsibility.
I picked up Rambo from the airport yesterday and drove back with my friend. It was a long day! He is hyper yet sweet! And a lot of work! Everything about him is great! I adore him and he's so cute and everyone noticed how unique he is. The greatest challenge yet is potty training.
He's not going on the…

However, I am looking for another link to discuss this but I think we have a huge jealousy problem. CorgiBear is female like me. She is totally connected with my husband. We both feed her and play with her and interact but my husband is home more often and she is more attached to him. Recently we (not knowing we should not have done this) took her to visit the place where we adopted her to pick out her brother. Since we came home, she has literally run from me to be under her fathers feet,…

We are really trying with Emmy, following the trainer's instructions. Sage and her shredded the training leash, so much for having it on whenever she is out of the cage. Okay, so we deal with that by using the training collar and looking her in the eye when she is misbehaving.......
Explain this: Not only did she escape from the training collar (the metal looped one), but SOMEHOW she got it to unloop!!! Now, anyone who has had one of these collars knows that it just doesn't happen…

Hello everybody!
I am a two years old Cardigan girl, called Tina. I'm now "blogging" for the first time in my life - in a foreign language as well - but will do my best to write.
So I think I will start by introducing myself and my family.
I was born in Finland together with two sisters and one brother. My father Frodo (and Petra) brought me to Sweden, when I was 10 weeks old.
My real name is Geestland's Tintomara. Tintomara is a boyish girl - or maybe a girlish…

I sure got a talking to or barking to, as the case may be, a few days ago, while watching TV. Scout was sleeping peacefully at my feet when I began laughing, not obnoxiously or anything, but apparently loud enough to disturb the little man. He opened one eye and began to growl. Nothing mean and not in any kind of angry tone, but more as a warning to me that he needed his sleep. I didn't totally realize this at the time and paid no attention to him. However, a few minutes later I laughed again.…

I have been feeding Gonzo Science Diet since we took him home, as recommended by our vet. Recently I began researching dog foods because I know that some are better than others, and Gonzo has never seemed to enjoy Science Diet. I found that Science Diet really isn't the worst but certainly is not the best quality either. Gonzo recently went three days without eating, and since we took him home he's frequently gone a full day without eating. I think maybe he simply doesn't like the taste, so…

Two nights ago, I took Cyber out in our back yard for his 11pm walk. Cyber is confined to a K-9 cart as he has lost the ability to utilize his rear legs to support his weight. After we were out about 10 minutes, Cyber took of on a dead run for our boat dock. I ran after him with thoughts of having to dive in the cold lake to retrieve his fuzzy butt before he sank to the bottom. He made it about 30 yards before I caught him and then I realized he had caught and tackled a full grown Possum. He…

On Christmas day Ben left our home for his new foreverhome. It was difficult saying goodbye, I had become so attatched as his "foster Mom". I hope he is doing well, have not heard too much about him. I had hoped his new owner would have been kind enough to email on occasion to let me know how he was adjusting. I miss his sweet face and his antics. Toby and Lola seem to be ok. The first few days they wanted more attention and loving from Bob and I. It will be awhile before I consider fostering…
