Owen and I went to the park today. I think secretly he hoped to see his corgi friends again. I did to.. he let them clean him - smelly puppy with dirty ears.. nothing like an older dog to put a pup in his place with a good cleaning. Owen doesn't really smell that bad though.. I just thought it was hilarious to watch the three adult corgis go to town on him.

Owen's yips have ceased. I'm pretty sure it was due to the fact that we had a heat wave and it was really uncomfortable there for a couple days. I'm guessing that was Owen's way of saying.. GET AC! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE! He's a bit of a boss afterall..

It has been a busy weekend for Owen! On Friday night we had friend and family over for a housewarming/puppy shower. Owen was amused by people and children alike. I was so afraid of people feeding him food but we kept a close eye on him between Matt, me and my parents. He got to play with kids and have a great time! I think Owen might be the only dog who was not immediately charmed by the bully stick. He did this weird thing for about 5 minutes until I took it away. Sniff it, nip at it and jump away like he had received a shock! Then bark at it a few times. Repeat. I got tired of that one really quick. My husband came home and we tried again. Matt said he had to show him what to do - then he was busy until dinner time.

Owen is 3 months today. We took him to his first trip to the park on Tuesday. Kid in candy store- I'm glad we have the harness for now. We have a LOT of leash work and obedience to do! He actually is doing very well for a 3 month pup, he just hasn't experienced outside of the house or our yard/block! We had a blast at the park and he crashed. All the other dogs and people..
