Tomorrow Cali is off to Gaspar's Grotto Yappy Hour. Can't wait to be surrounded by other Corgi lovers. I hope Cali is as excited as I am, and makes a few friends. I can tell she longs for a playmate.

The LA County Baldwin Park Animal Shelter was the recipient of 20+ tricolor Corgi type dogs (some identified as Jack Russell or Sheltie but 70% very corgi in appearance) and others may have beagle as well in their mix. All related. Their breeder relinquished them to the shelter over the past week in 4 separate groups after they were found to operating an illegal kennel. All the dogs are set to be altered no later then 11/5 (this Thurs) at the shelter clinic and are available for adoption now…

Toby was diagnosed with lymphoma yesterday.
Two weeks ago, she started drinking lots of water and peeing in the house.
I knew something must be very wrong and sent her to the vet.
They did blood and urine tests for my girl.
A week later, Toby was scheduled for another X-ray and biopsy check.
She had no appetite ever since the day of the X-ray test and lost 2 kg within 2 weeks.
After the results were out, our vet referred us to the cancer specialist.
The…

SOOOO... It's late. Like, 3 AM late, and I need to go to sleep but I must share this exciting news first.
I was checking out PWCCA and their list of breeders registered on the site. I found this kennel, registered with the PWCCA in 2009, located in Virginia Beach-- my home town! Where I live! Where Waffle will live the first couple of months of his life! So, that's awesome. t's called "Corizma" owned by a Mike and Terry New. I sent them an email because I am a little phone shy (and it is 3…

Morna is now almost a year old. November 27th is her birthday. She is quite a character and frequently our laughter is mixed with a quiet, to ourselves "You bugger, you!" She is VERY singleminded when she decides she wants something (particularly if the something she is pursuing is one of our cats!) My daughter's dog, Bear, who is a chow/black lab mix, works and plays well with others. This is a report card that my baby girl may never get! Despite the fact that she is the last one in, and…

I should have wrote this one sooner but we had emergency surgery (we being the boyfriend) and I was running around going crazy. Anyway, Milo got adopted at the end of September/beginning of October!!!
Thank you to everyone who helped me take care of him. He's doing great in his new home and the owner is absolutely in love with him. She made a bee line to him when she went to Petsmart.

Russian scientists say that Moscow stray dogs became much smarter. The four legged oldest human’s friends demonstrate real smartness such as riding the Moscow metro every morning to get from their suburban places of living to the fat regions of Moscow center. Once they arrive to the downtown they demonstrate different new, previously unseen for the dog skills.

Riley,
I miss you,
I miss your blub blubs,
I miss seeing you and the puppy play,
I miss our walks,
I miss laying with you on a quiet morning as the sun came in,
I miss seeing you when I come home,
I miss watching you "get em",
I miss playing big dog,
I miss helping you through your fear of the scrubbing bubbles,
I miss telling you my secrets,
I miss your silence when I needed to be alone to think and you would patiently sit by my…

Okay, this may be one of the cutest dogs I've ever seen! I have to stop this Craigslist addiction I have. He is up for adoption though in the Tulsa area if anyone wants him!

I am so excited! I get to pick up little Odin at 10:30am on Thursday!!!! I believe I got all of the necessary items, all I need now is to pick up a bell from the craft store (to teach him to ring a bell when he needs to go out).
My boyfriend and I went up to the front office of his apartment complex to pay all of the outragous pet fees ($535.00). They asked me what kind of dog it was, and how much it weighed...lol so I told them. I said I was getting a Pembroke Welsh Corgi. The guy…

The Dog Dish put up the pictures from the Halloween party. Here is me and the puppies getting our prize basket. I can't believe how stinking young I look in this picture. I look like a teenager, lol. I guess I shouldn't complain! =)

Chesney is one years old today! Wooo hoooo! She's going to the groomer to have a spa day and then she gets to wander the store and pick out a few toys and treats.
I can't believe how fast this year has gone! She's gotten so big!

They are gone!
I stopped Innova Large Breed Puppy food about 3 weeks ago and started feeding him homecooked ground turkey with carrots, green peas and broccoli with little bit of garlic and olive oil. A week later I added Orijen Puppy Food. So now he gets delicious homemade for breakfast and high quality kibble for dinner.
He is not itching as bad anymore, only sometimes ears and chest, the eye bugers got a bit worse for 2 weeks (I was warned by a friend-breeder that it would…

Today is Taz's first birthday. Can't believe how fast this year went by. He got some toys that my son took half an hour picking out at Walmart last night, when he gave them to Taz this morning big sister KC promptly came over and took the one she wanted.

I want to thank everyone who has posted comments for us since we have joined Mycorgi.com. I am having a great time looking at everyone's pictures of their adorable pets. I can appreciate your talent since I can't get my Tinker to sit still for much of anything.Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get her motivated to listen to me. She will not do anything for a treat. She just walks away. She does better when I have the leash on her, but I don't want to keep her leashed all the time. I'm…
