Sitting in the front seat of the car?

This may well have been visited before, but I am trying to do the right thing, by getting some opinions.

I have a Volvo wagen. In the front the seats are separate with an arm rest in the middle.

Court likes to try to sit in my lap and look out the window, or have his hind legs on the

back seat and his front paws on the arm rest, of course during turns etc, he may lose his

First Day of Fly Ball Class

Kenzie and I started our first Fly Ball class today!

Lucky for US, we were the only ones there! Hahaha..

Something about people being in California?

I really think I picked the jack pot for her out of dog sports in regards to her personality.

She climbed on the Fly Ball Box like it was a jungle gym and wagged her tail when it clicked.

I thought she might be scared of the strange object or at least the noise. Nope.

Stinky Breathe!

Whenever I drive, Rambo likes to sit half way in my lap in the driver's seat. As he's close to me, he often look at me and opens his mouth. I noticed how bad his breathe has been lately. Is there such thing as breathe mints for dogs?

The Big Corgi Meet-up!

This weekend I took Sidney and Bruce to the hugest corgi play date I have ever seen! Here in San Diego we have a Corgi Meet-up group, and once a month they get together at various dog parks or beaches. This was the first one I was able to go to, and it was so much fun. There were 60 corgis and corgi mixes there! The funniest thing was when a "herd" of corgis would break out in a chase! Sidney got to be lead dog in a couple of chases, and boy is he fast! Cheez-itology 101

It just turned 6 am, and he is finally asleep for what I think will be the long haul. I noticed he sleeps several 1 hour naps all day and one large 5 hour one once the lights are out. I woke up this morning from the sound of his cage creaking. He wasnt barky, mis-behaved, he actually stayed pretty calm and chewed a nylabone until I got up. Grover's First Day Out and About!

So, I took Grover out on the town for the first time today. He is 14 weeks old, so I thought I had better start socializing him now! I'm feeling a little late in the game, getting him out to do stuff. But this is the first weekend it has worked out to go do some fun stuff.

We went to SpringFest, which is a local festival with lots of food and booths and music and stuff. It is a lot of fun, but this is the first year I've had a little tag-a-long buddy to take with me!

New pup w/ inguinal hernia, finally home.

I went to pickup my pup from the vet/breeder health check today. I was very excited to take him home. The vet said that he has an inguinal (spelling??) hernia. It is slightly visible on his lower left side on his inner stomache. I was given the option to take another pup when she gets one ect.. I know that these are fairly common in female dogs, but happen in males too. We worked out a solution, and I took Cheez-it home in spite of his issue. I have been so busy lately that I haven't been on MyCorgi in a while! I am sorry for adding all these videos at once, but I finally had time to sit down and get it all done!

Lots of new changes

We finally got settled in our new house! Wahoo! Oakley and Maggie (the cat) seem to like it a lot. We have HUGE windows that go down to the floor that they can sit and look out of. Maggie has found that Oakley's bed provides a very soft lookout spot. Oakley has met a lot of the new neighbors and their children (there's something in the water because everyone is either pregnant or has one or two small children). My corgi Rosa does not seem to be adjusting to new baby, help?

Hey every one,

I was just wondering if any one has any advice ...we just brought home our first born son from the hospital a few days ago and rosa does not seem to be adjusting well. She is a little rough with him, lots of nudging with her nose(kind of like she does with our cat) and then she did growl at him this morning, and barks at him if he makes any sounds. also she went and peed in the baby room too. Car rides for Daisy...

Does anyone else have problems riding in cars with their Corgi? Daisy is OK until the car starts moving, then she slinks in the corner and puts her head right by the door. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Almost pup time!

I started vacation with a bang today. On top of the excitement that is finally picking up my pooch tomarrow, my auto insurance just dropped almost 1.5k a year from my recent birthday! Walking on a leash without pulling...I feel like we have tried everything

Trying to walk Lance on a leash can be a challenge, if he is already not worn out. He thinks everyone should say hello to him. We have two dogs Lance plays with, so when we go for a walk towards their house he automatically thinks he is going over there to play and pulls me there. I have tried making him sit and wait until he doesnt pull but that doesnt work. I have tried turning him around to walk in the opposite direction and then go back the way we were waling. Only four pups survived

Yesterday I visited the breeder and saw my pup for the first time. I was a bit shocked that only 4 out of 7 pups survived. They are 4 weeks old now and hopefully doing well. They were eating raw meat when we came and so they are all a bit dirty in the picture. Also their paws and white spots were pink from the meat, but they were sweet! We're finally getting our baby girl!

Sleven is getting a sister!! And its actually HIS SISTER! The breeder that we got Sleven from (who is AWESOME) has a litter of puppies and we're going to go get a tri color female on Sunday. I can't wait!! It's just (sigh) perfect because I trust this breeder and Sleven is very handsome and this is exactly what we wanted....a tri baby girl. Day One

Well, I am happy to say that I have joined Mycorgi.com! I've been a visitor of this webpage for quite some time now but have just joined. I hope all will enjoy my Corgi's and I am looking forward to virtually meeting all of your Corgi's. Growing up I had a few different types of dog's, but it wasn't until I got my first Corgi when I was 15, that I truly feel in love. Corgi's are the best breed and I never plan on owning anything else.
