Hi, friends!
Thank you for helping me with my last blog post! I'm VERY excited to go visit Margo, a 6 month old Cardigan (held for show by the breeder) next Sunday to see how compatible she is with my little dude Gutie (1.5 year old Pembroke).
Do Cardigans and Pembrokes generally have the same temperaments, exercise requirements, etc? My guy requires 2 hours of exercise daily, which is NO PROBLEM because I absolutely love to be outdoors and even though I work full-time the…

Has anyone ever had to deal with bladder polyps? First Zoey was being treated for a UTI, then when the meds they kept prescribing didn't work, they Xrayed her and found bladder stones-which it seems every dog in our neighborhood has! The vet wanted to rule out a tumor, so did an ultrasound, which is when he discovered the bladder polyps. He has only seen a couple cases in his entire career (which has been several decades), so right now we're monitoring to see if they grow/multiple. She is…

Hey, friends!
So, I have the opportunity to adopt a 6mo-old Cardigan (female) from a breeder I live near. I would absolutely love to have her, as Gutie gets lonely during the day while I'm working and he'd love a playmate the rest of his life! I'm going to go visit her (Margo) on Wednesday to see how compatible her and Gutie are.
If all goes well, how do you guys juggle having two dogs in your life? I already have a second crate from when Gutie was younger, I…

Butler did a few minutes of flyball at the Pet Expo on Sunday. Aside from trying to avoid one particular hurdle, he seemed to have a good time (but he does love treats). Anybody else play flyball that can give me a few pointers?

He has one big pee, and then will strain and strain after that trying to squeak out another drop or two, it looks like he can't hold is bladder at all.

Watson is so very happy to have a playmate! Lexi is from Wendtworth corgis in Ohio and I have always loved her corgis. It was pure luck that she had a puppy for me right now. I know some people wait a long time after losing their dog but I find getting a puppy is the very best way to move on . So far she is fitting in well and Watson loves her. She is very smart and catches…

Well it is about that time. We are in the process of looking to add another corgi to our home. I think that we have all had the painstaking process of trying to find a corgi… Our male is about 6 years old now and we want to get a puppy/young female but we have found this to be quite a challenge. Please let me know if you or someone you know knows someone who has one – Thanks guys

UPDATE-The puppies have found a surrogate mother! Her name is Natis Athena, who is a black poodle and she accepted the puppies right away like they were her own. They've already posted a picture of her with the puppies.
My husband follows Honey and Rocky on Facebook. Yesterday, Honey gave birth to 4 beautiful babies, but died during the birth. They are in Lendava, Slovenia, so a Facebook post went out asking for a substitute mother. Here is what the Facebook page looks like. My…

For anyone who has a corgi with cracked paws, I highly suggest using Natural Dog Company's Pawtector or Pawsoother. We currently use it as a preventative and it's great. You can get 10% off with the code CorgiBear10 :)…
