Thank you everyone for prayers. I am a true animal lover and that means all of Gods creatures. We have a lovely back yard with a lake that was full of Canadian Geese, Mallards, bull frogs, a Goose. I mean nature was right outside my back door. This neighbor was more concerned with her lawn than with the beauty that we can all enjoy. Right now there are no longer any living creatures out there, not even squirrels. It's so sad and sadder that my Yogi had to be a part of this evilness that…

Hi corgi lovers. I just wanted to post and say that my Yogi my male red corgi had to be put down 7/12/12 because my horibile neighbor put moth crystals on her lawn to try to get the canadian geese we have in our neighborhood, and it effected my Yogi and he passed even though he was still in excellent health. I am still in mourning and missing him dearly. Just wanted to share this. I love you Yogi. you were the best corgi ever.

Bentley attended his first day of Puppy Kindergarten. He was such a good boy. He caught on very fast. Bentley is the second to the smallest puppy in class. The class is being held thru the city's parks and recreation in downtown Fullerton.

Where to start?
Well, since I last came by MyCorgi.com, Spider had a bout with lyme disease which was successfully treated and was pretty healthy and happy until late last December, when he stopped eating for several days before becoming violently ill.
I had made an appointment to take him in the next morning due to his decreased appetite but ended up rushing him to a 24 hour emergency vet hospital after I discovered how sick he'd been (all over the room and…

Since the last post a lot has been going on. In the last 3 weeks Sheamus had been experiencing repeated bouts of diarrhoea but it seems his stools are finally returning to normal. To manage it we put him on a chicken and rice diet as well as given antibiotics as per the vets advice. We also gradually changed brands of dog food which has significantly made a better difference.
On the brighter side of things, he is now fully vaccinated and has been enjoying the outside world! He has…

Pumpkin is 11 years old today. Happy & healthy. I'm so very fortunate to have had the pleasure of her company for 11 years. We've travelled the world together. I look forward to many more wonderful years together.

Just after a weekend of rest (a much much MUCH needed rest at that!) Baxter and I were back out competing at another trial. This trial was closer to home, but the travel to and from was very taxing. We are definitely learning a lot when it comes to which trials to chose in the future!

UPDATE: I am sad to let you guys know that when my boyfriend called the owner so we can get her as planned once my bf got out of work, he told us that his roommate gave her away while he was at school without his permission. We were so upset, and felt like we were too late on the draw. I was getting excited just thinking about having two corgis to look after. I feel like we may have failed this poor girl. I hope that whoever has her now will take good care of her. I just wish it was…

So, during Ein's recovery period from her spay surgery, I knew we might have some trouble with getting her to go the bathroom in the yard, but if she had no where else to go, she had no choice, right? And of course she held it and held it and held it. One call to the vet had a vet tech telling me that it would be okay to drive her to the park where she will do her business. So I did that for a couple days. Then I noticed her spay incision seemed open. I don't know if it was from licking or…

Hi all,
The pups are 5 weeks old now and nearly ready to go to their forever homes and I'm hoping that all you Corgi lovers out there can help me. For my own penance I will tell you what I had been thinking... and why I now need some help from all of you.
I had planned on having them go to a local breeder who has avenues to pet shops in the Denver area (I'm in SW Nebraska) - this based on the recommendation of my local veterinarian (which is why my thoughts even went down this…

Ralph is a big boy, but gosh, do thunderstorms scare the pants off of him! Upon hearing a peal of thunder the other day, he leapt up on the chaise longue and practically sat on my face, trembling like a little (okay, giant) leaf. Poor little (big) guy!

I'm at the end of the first week of having Commissioner Gordon. He is perhaps the most well-behaved puppy I've met (here's hoping I don't jinx myself, haha) Potty training as been a breeze, we've only had two accidents so far. Even in the short span of time I've had him, he's grown a noticeable amount and one of his ears has perked up.
Gordon's only flaw is perhaps his utter fearlessness. He has a gut-wrenching tendency to attempt kamikaze jumps when he is riled up after a…
