I just had to laugh last night, Taz was laying on the bed with us watching NCIS (no corgis on last night) and all of the sudden he started makeing all sorts of "corgi noises" and he was rolling around on the bed and scootching himself around on his back. Imagine my surprise as I am watching a Jurassic Park movie on USA and suddenly an adorable little corgi goes running across my tv screen advertising for the dog show that starts tomorrow I believe.

I just realized that it has been a long time since I have done anything on here, I have been sidetracked lately with a horse rescue group site. The first day Taz was here KC pretty much ignored him. Sunday she still pretty much didn't pay attention to him. Monday she went into full big sister mode. Whenever he is out of his crate she follows him around and if Levi gets after him for something then she is right there letting Levi have it. We got to pick up Taz yesterday! Everyone was so excited. Ok at first not everyone was excited but KC is warming up to him. We were really busy yesterday as we finally made it back home after being gone for five days. So we brought him home, unloaded the car, stuck him in his sisters new pink crate and had to go get some errands done before the new snow storm hit. It started snowing last Saturday in Hermiston, snowed most of Sunday, and Monday. My husband got stuck in it for 5 hours trying to get to work. Finally made it home safely thank God. They called his work off for the rest of the week so we opted to brave it and go down to my parents house in Vancouver Washington. Fun trip down haha.

Spent a couple of days there, headed back up the gorge for The Dalles where my mother in law lives, got stuck on the highway behind some jack knifed semi's for… Continue

I am so excited it is finally snowing here. We are supposed to get 3-5 inches this weekend but since this is Hermiston I will believe it when I see it. Anyhoo, I am so excited to see the dogs tomorrow morning if it snows all night as this is their first snow.



I wish I had a camera....oh well maybe Santa will bring me one.

I was sitting in bed last night enjoying Private Practice when I hear noises out in the kitchen. Thinking that KC is trying to climb into the garbage can again, I quietly tip toe down the hallway and turn on the light. Heard from the breeder today and found out that our little guy has been started on soft food. And is a weany. LOL Poor guy he is the only boy with two sisters, like he had a chance. We voted last night and decided that his name is Taz. Sounds like it may be one of those cases where the name is the total opposite of the dog. But oh well. The name went on the stocking so it is offical now. Hopefully we will get some pictures in the next day or two and finally get to see what he looks like. I… Continue

I am so excited, the lady I got KC from just emailed me that she has new puppies! Hopefully KC will be unwrapping a little brother for Christmas!

This morning my little girl went to the vet to get fixed. I was of course more upset about this then she was, for one thing she was peeved at me for having to spend the whole night in the crate and then having to be on the leash all morning until it was time to go. Secondly, the lady at the desk when I took her in did a "Oh you are so cute" so that was KC's cue to wiggle and kiss and snuggle, and she was like "yeah, whatever Mom" about me leaving her there. I knew that corgi's were the smartest dogs :D But this weekend I got to witness just how their little brains can really figure things out. We were up at my grandmother's house in Wallowa and had the dirty wet dogs shut into the laundry room until they dried off. So I just spent 10 minutes trying to get my little darling out from under my bed because she knew she was in trouble for chasing the cat. Those are the moments I sometimes wonder why I felt the need for another baby when my people children are finally getting to the age of going to school.
