How do you keep your house clean living a corgi/corgis?

Hi All, not sure if this has been discussed before but how do you keep your house clean living a corgi/corgis?
We have a Roomba that we run everyday to manage the hair shedding and I clean the tiles area every second day but still there would be paw marks & hairs everywhere.
Do you wipe your dog's paws after walks? Do you clean them up after pee/potty?
I've read somewhere that corgis are not supposed to have the bad doggie smell. Is this true?
For those who let your dog sleep in the bedroom with you, how do you manage?
Thanks guys

I vacuum the carpets and hard floors every other day. Definately have a towel for feet wiping next to the door on rainy days. Mine don't stink except their breath sometimes. Daisy is a grade A poop eater. Wiping butts-unless there's something hanging off I wouldn't worry about that. Also, keep them brushed. Once a week really good should be enough. We do baths outside once a month in the summer, once every couple months in the winter. For the ears I take 2 cotton balls and pour some rubbing alcohol on one and squeeze out the excess then wipe out both ears. Then I take the other and squeeze some baby oil on it and do the same thing after the ears dry from the alcohol. There's also waterless shampoo you can buy. It comes in a spray bottle and works great for spot jobs. That's all I got. :)
I let my dog sleep in the bedroom with us but she sleeps on the floor not on the bed. To keep it clean we got a broom (the one that's similar like a mop and you can change the cloth when it's dirty and wash it. The cloth is micro-fiber so all the fur sticks to the broom and we just have to wipe the fiber with tissue). My husband sweep the room every day with that. Vacuuming is only once a week because sometimes we're too lazy to get the vacuum out ^^

If her paw is wet yes, we wipe the paw but they're rarely wet and I don't clean them after pee coz it's not necessary. Her paw doesn't get wet when she's doing her business.

My corgi doesn't smell (not a bad doggie smell) - she does have her own smell but it smells good hahaha ^^ I like the smell and it doesn't stink the house/room. Even when she doesn't have her bath for a 1.5 month she still smells good ^^
Yes, I use the one from 3M. I just sweep the floor dry, and the static on the fiber picks everything up. I do not see the fur, but I always get a ton of it on the sweep!
Well, it helps to take my glasses off but it can be a little dangerous! Corgis really don't smell as bad as some breeds but I bathe mine once a month or so. I put lots of cheap rugs down by the door they come in and towel off wet feet if any. They sleep with us so keeping an eye on Izzy's butt is a must. She has the super short dock and sometimes needs a rinse. Sparty has the stub he was born with and is never messy. When the grandkids are here I vacuum the main room they are in often and put a blanket down for the baby but they live with two huskeys so are used to hair. It also helps to either lower your standards a little or hire cleaners. LOL Spending lots of time with your baby will be so much better than cleaning a lot!!
My dog's feet are rarely dirty and when they are I just put him in a bathtub with running water and they rinse off. His tummy gets dirty sometimes, if he runs and plays like a nut, then I have to wash it too. Maybe once a week.
He doesn't have bad doggie smell, but he did sometimes in Summer. He's still growing and changing his coat, so I really don't know how it will be later.
We vacuum about 2x a week and brush him every other day, that helps with shedding. He's not allowed on the furniture most of the time, but when he is we make sure he stays to one area, away from blankets and pillows, then we clean it when he's off the couch.
Sounds like a lot of trouble, but it really isn't. My home is very clean and there's hardly any hair except on the carpet.
I was telling my daughter the other day how glad I am that Sidney smells so good, even if he has not had a bath in a few months! Like Angela said about her corgi, Sidney has a doggie smell, but it's a GOOD smell. I work with a basset and a beagle, and that little beagle smells so bad! >_/body>
I have a big rubber/carpet mat by both my doors but if it's mud time I have a towel there to wipe their paws also this helps some! There is still hair no matter what I do and I keep my bed covered with a larger sheet to prevent hair from getting on the bed linens! I either shake this and/or throw in the dryer on fluff to dehair about every 2-3 days!

My dogs do not smell unless they get wet!
How do I keep my house clean? I don't! LOL

Hard surfaces with area rugs are easier, IMO, than carpeting but everyone is different. I keep a beach towel by the door to wipe paws or bellies if it rained or, in the summer, when there is dew (which is just about every morning).

Unscented baby wipes are great for cleaning off dirty paws, tummies, or butts. Occasionally if they have a messy bum they get popped in the shower for a back-end rinse. Both of mine tend to walk off before they have finished which can sometimes make a bit of a mess; I too think the super-short dock has something to do with it, since I've never had another dog who did that before I got Corgis.
Wood floors and leather furniture made it possible to live with shedding corgi's.
corgi hair and more corgi hair, I never knew one dog could have so much hair. She gets lots of mini baths, especially after being out at the ranch with us. We vacuum every wk and i dust, yikes .. should every day! not only does she sleep in the bedroom, but she sleeps on the bed! shame on us!!
I have never noticed a bad smell from her (unless she has rolled in the manure pile at the ranch, or found some dead critter to roll on).. why do they do that?
Yes, WHY do they do that indeed?? (Roll on something totally yuck!)
I thought it's just my corgi but i saw a corgi rolled on some poos at a park the other day and now that you mentioned it, must be one of the corgi charms.:)
Possibly a dog’s ancient instinct to mask his scent, which would then enable the animal to sneak up on their prey without detection. Even if your dog does not hunt, she may not like the way that she smells—especially if you’ve just given her a bath! Or she just likes the smell of the feces.
