Another thing my corgi has is a "fat" tumor. It's not really a tumor, more of a deposit, the vet says they are normal and harmless. So she has this bump on her side, but it's only noticeable when you pet her there.

Hi all.... CorgiMom and I have Cody (Drewel's Wild Bill Cody) and he's 13! We got him from a &*%$ who didn't want him. He's a happy camper, but has cataracts, arthritis and is starting to pace a bit. But he's an awesome little dog!!! And we love him to pieces!

Hi everyone! I'm Phoebe & I am 8 years old. I have no major health issues, but I am overweight. Nice to meet you :)

Hello all, my corgi is 11 now, and she is showing more aging besides just graying fur at her ear tips. She is getting stiff in her back end, and seems to get tired playing quickly. But when I keep her weight in check these seem to improve. Another thing which I've seen a vet about twice has been this strange coughing/wheezing. Its hard to explain if she's not doing it, and one vet told me about "reverse sneezing". So I still don't know what it is, but her lungs are fine. So I'm hoping to keep her going as long as I can

My Corgis are still young. . .but I've had other pups and losing them is heartbreaking. . . .Sid is 4, Babs is 2 and Cloe just turned 1 in July. . . .they are my life and every day I have them is special and I make the most of it. . . .they even have their own bank account. . . .LOL

My current pups are pretty young, but I have experienced the loss of a senior corgi. One of the hardest things I have ever lived through.

Bruce is pretty amazing and pretty adorable too! What sort of activity level does he have at his age?

Hello, and thanks for the invite, Buttercup!

Right now, I don't have a senior dog, having just lost mine back in April at the age of 13 (darn old for a Shepherd) but I'm around them all the time. Hopefully, I can offer some good comments and feedback!

Thanks for starting this group! Although Gus isn't that mature, with the hip dyslpasia I'm sure I'll get lots of great info here.

Good idea, Buttercup! I have a senior corgi mix. He was rescued "at the last minute" and he is thought to be 13 or 14.
His name is Bruce
Bruce

He's amazing!
