Hometown:
I was raised in Western Massachusetts and now live in Mobile, AL
About Me:
My partner and I are the proud parents of 3 Pemmies,a Cardi X, and a Cardi, of whom are spoiled rotten. I'm a dog trainer. I also volunteer my time to an animal welfare organization here to train their dogs on the basics so they are more adoptable. I continue to work with service, therapy and special needs dogs. I am disabled by Fibromyalgia now and only train privately. My partner, Patti B., is a groomer and all-around animal whisperer! She also is disabled; an Iraq War Vet. We also have a catahoula x and mini aussie x to round out the family.
Welsh Corgi Breeder?

About My Corgi(s):
Tank, CWC X, is AKC-CGC and Delta certified and is retired as my partner's service dog. (She is an OIF/Iraq War vet.) Everybody in town knows Tank. I'm no longer Cindi, I'm Tank's mom. We also have Rainer, Riley, Harmony (service dog), Dundee, Moira, and honorary corgis Ranec (catahoula) and Aine' (aussie).

Dundee, PWC, is a puppy mill rescue. When we adopted him, he weighed 14 lbs, was missing fur, teeth were rotten, ears eaten off...it was sad. Now he's a healthy and happy boy!

Moira, PWC, was a rescue organization adoption. She was grossly overweight, close to 48 lbs. She's now a svelte 25 lbs. She's the boss of the whole pack!

Harmony is a CWC who came from a wonderful breeder in the Huntsville area. She is just a sparkle princess! So sweet natured and good hearted. She joined our family on August 21st '09. Harmony is now trained as Corgi Mom's new service dog. She's so SMART! Everyone loves her and she has her own fan club now.

Rainer was an owner surrender to me after he was attacked by an intact pit bull and it's owner. He was in pretty bad shape. Now he is such a happy boy, running and jumping and frapping! He loves everyone he sees. Still working on liking other dogs, but that will come in time.
I have:
Both Pembroke and Cardigan

Two corgis to rehome

Posted on September 3, 2012 at 7:39pm 1 Comment

Hi all... We have 2 corgis to rehome. Chloe is a BHT PWC, a yr old and spayed. She's small - maybe 15 to 18 lbs. And she's a blast. We pulled her off Craigslist here from someone who didn't want her with hopes of transporting her to an adoptive home. But when we got her, we found out quickly she was terrified of traveling in the car. We've resocialized her, spayed her, and she's attended my training class. So she's ready for a fur-ever home. The other female is Maddie. She's 6, spayed…

URGENT NEED: HAWAI'I CORGIS

Hi everyone,

Patti's got to go back to Oahu (Waipahu) because of a family emergency.  For those who don't remember, Patti is an Iraq War vet with PTSD.  She has a service dog, but we are concerned that with the time line we will not have a way to send Harmony with her.  Anyone on here in Hawai'i who can help us with what is necessary to get Harmony into Honolulu with Patti.  Or if you can be a contact for her while there to help her out.  Please get ahold of me on Facebook …

Andy is a senior corgi kid who went missing on 12/31.  He's been on the run for 3 weeks now and, as you can imagine, we're all deeply concerned.  Please, if you're in CT join in the search.  Think about how you would be if this were your beloved corgi.  Help bring Andy home!

Corgi looking for a home

Posted on July 5, 2011 at 11:58pm 3 Comments

Hi everyone.

I received a call today from a family looking to re-home their 3 year old corgi.  His name is Max and he is a sable, neutered male.  He is UTD on shots, heart worm preventative and flea control.  According to the current owners, he is quite an active little guy who needs more time and activity than this family can give.  If you are interested, email me at cindi_g@comcast.net and I will share the contact information with you.

Another Rescue

Hey corgi lovers...

Yes, we've added another to our Clan.  I just couldn't say no, even though we agreed that we needed another dog like we needed a hole in our heads.  Let me tell you the story.  It's simply horrendous.

Rainer is a 2 yr old intact male RHT PWC.  The owners purchased him at dog show in Texas.  He was bred by a woman in LA.  The family had brought him to our store before, and when she called I did remember him.  According to the woman owner, they…

Hi Cindi! Thanks for the weight issue and story...I have an idea that Zip is heavier than 48#'s but we'll deal with it. I asked them to weigh him but they said he looks much like he does in his pic I don't think they want to know because they really do care about him...don't know that I believe it but I have helped many people lose over a hundred pounds and get healthy so I believe I can help my Zip do this also! Thanks for all you do with your sweet corgis too!

Your new baby is almost identical to our Ollie. The only difference is that Ollie isn't fluffy. We got him as a rescue and he was a stray so we don't know anything about his ancestry so I wonder if they could be related.(:

I read about little Cody and it made me cry. Just looking into that little face in his picture - how could anyone not just love him to pieces. I am sure he is greatly missed. Your pack is adorable, and I am sure they keep you busy! Thank you for all you do for those corgis out there!

I saw in an old post that you and your partner sold all natural flea prevention products. I was wondering if you guys still do that? I have been having a problem with Paisley who has been getting sick when I treat her with frontline, and would love to figure out a healthier alternative. Feel free to message me on my page or e-mail me at artiebacardi@gmail.com! Thank you!
