It's amazing when I read all the comments people write about our beloved corgi;s the kids as I refer to them as!. It also saddens me when I read about people who harm animals it makes my blood boil!. In Oscar's 10 years I have never raised a hand to him and never would I growl and he knows by the tone of my voice he has done something wrong!.
Look we all make rules no dogs on the furniture! no dogs on the beds!. But how long do those rules last 5 minutes! Yes!. You get that little…

Goro (the Japanese corgi on YouTube) still needs everyone's love and support to get his operation. His PayPal account is up and running and donations can be sent to: siro_wan@yahoo.co.jp
I'm posting this to remind everyone of this dear little corgi's need. He's very beautiful and precious and I know if you watch any of his videos on YouTube you will fall in love with this very special little guy.

I DID warn you there'd 'prolly be lots of questions coming ;)
With the registration there's an option of Lost and Found. How many of you selected that option? Did you have your Corgi microchipped before you registered?
And do you feel microchipping is worthwhile?.

When we got Gwen, they had been allowing her on the furniture. We had discussed that we didn't think it was the best idea.
I know she's young enough to break of the habit, but those brown eyes.....
What are your opinons on this? Does jumping up and down on furniture put undue stress on them? I know they aren't china but would hate to think of putting her at any risk of injury,
When growing up with dogs they were always allowed on the furniture, until my mom's…

Hi All,
A question that somebody maybe able to confirm?.
My Vet told me when Oscar was a puppy at his first visit to the vet you will notice the white marking on the back of Oscars head. My vet referred to it as the Duchess's thumb print and that it was a sign of good luck for Oscar!. Can anybody confirm this and let me know. I do know from his Pedigree Papers that on his father's side his Great Great Grandfather was from Queen Elizabeth's Royal Corgi's!. This…

I made a survival collar for Snickers. The picture below is a survival bracelet; they are becoming very popular. You can unravel them and have 8 feet of strong rope (parachute cord or paracord) to use for whatever. A corgi collar will give you 12 -15 feet of rope and only cost a few dollars and an hour to make. I used the tutorial by Knot the Ordinary on…

First I'd like to say hello; I was a member of MyCorgi in the past when we got our first little girl, Domino. We had her for 5 years and she was awesome. She was so fun and energetic and she was always a happy puppy. Unfortunately she passed away last December and we mourned her absence profoundly. We still miss her, and we know she can never be replaced, but the house had grown too quiet and we knew the love of a Corgi is what we needed.
We have had our new little guy Jase (AKA JJ)…

While on our walk today, Teddy and I discovered a new park that the city of Sammamish is working on. It's right on Lake Sammamish, off the Lake Sammamish Trail and has great little pathways that run along side of the shore. They left most of the natural state so we were climbing up and down, weaving our way through trees and mud and boom, there would be the lake with…

Today is Franklin's 4th birthday!!! Wow we have come a long way together! He is the best companion in the entire world and I couldn't ask for a better best friend! For his birthday he got some new rawhides, a new squeaker toy (which he thinks is the best thing in the WHOLE world), and will be getting a special dinner and some new Kong tennis balls! I have to work today but tomorrow we plan to celebrate in style if the weather holds. We did a fun birthday romp on the river yesterday for a few…

I want to donate money for Goro, and I see that his PayPal account is up and running from other posts (siro_wan@yahoo.co.jp). I've never done PayPal before and I don't know how! I thought would just click on this link, which is posted several places, and it would take me to a site where I could make a donation via a credit card. That's not what happens. First it opens my Windows Live email and then creates a message with Sirowan's email), but that's all I see. I was going to make a nice…
