cobbled together clips from all our video of the visit.
One of my cats developed a hematoma in her ear from scratching (she had a yeast infection in her ears caused by her allergies)
Vet said they were going to drain, stitch and button it...
I didn't think they really meant "buttons"…

We just picked up our 2nd furkiddo this weekend, she is 8 weeks old!
Lobo our first baby is 3 1/2 years old and I know it has only been 3 days and everyone I have asked and everything I read says it will take time. He has totally broken my heart he is very pitiful. Friday when we brought Cadence to my in-laws he would literally turn his head away not even make eye contact with her lol. He would then sniff her and run away and other times he would show his teeth. Saturday and…

For my first post on this site, I just want to give a hearty Thank You! to everyone who has posted before me.
Growing up, I had two dogs. My family has a long tradition of outside dogs (which I never liked, but I was the kid). Nothing is difficult about having an outside dog in the country. They run, play, bark, potty, chew whatever and wherever they want on the acres of land they have free range to explore. You play with and walk them when you feel like it and ignore them when you…

So Freyja used to be a very eager puppy about meal time. I feed her 2/3 of a cup of Blue Buffalo puppy food twice a day and she would be so excited as soon as I set down her food bowl. Something has all of a sudden changed! She really has no interest in her puppy food and wont even touch her food bowl until it has been sitting there for a few hours. We have tried to sprinkle cheese on top to get her interested but then she only eats the cheese. Should I attempt to try another puppy food?…

Every have a pup do something so cool consistently enough that you try to record it, only for them to clam up and refuse? I wanna scream in exasperation right now! I very seriously have 3 out of the 4 saying the word "Hello", as well as Pippa saying "I love you"! And the second the camera comes out they all want to go hide :( I had a pug that passed away that could say "water", and never really shut up about it (haha!), so I am insanely excited that I have more than one talker again....I…

Hello,
I just joined this great online group and have a question for any of you experienced owners out there. I just got a Pembroke Corgi for Christmas and am SO in love with her. I have owned dogs in the past, but this is my first Corgi. I am planning on doing agility with her. Of course at this point we are just in a puppy obedience class. Everything I have read says that they should be a year old before we begin training for agility so they are physically developed. Are you…

And she means business......Ive been bit by her 4 or 5 time and have bled once. I dont know what to do in punishment?? Ive just said no and taken…

Was inspired to find such a class after reading Sam Tsang's post about his dog almost choking. Thanks Sam! This was organized by a national company called PetTech, they call it the PetSaver Program. Very informative. I hope will never need this information BUT in an emergency situation, the odds will be better because of this knowledge. It covered topics like:
Restraining
Rescue Breathing
Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Choking…

Thor and Stormy! Sorry the photos are so cruddy, it seems the only time they slow down long enough to snap one is at night.
Thor (first two photos) has the most gorgeous smile (second photo) and is a huge cuddle bug. Emphasis on huge! He was bigger than all of his littermates by far O_O. At almost 11 weeks, he already has a strong love for frozen green beans, too.
Stormy (last photo) is probably the most derpy corgi there is. He acts like he as a couple of…

We keep a cushion outside for the boys (and their new puppy "sister" Stella-lab/pit/rot mix) to rest on during the day.
This is what we came home to yesterday. They destroyed another cushion before Stella got here. Any ideas why they are suddenly doing this?…

It was close, there were times when Sparkle was being potty trained that I was ready to give her back to her breeder but she made it and as you can see she's grown into a beautiful girl. She's got a big…

Molly and I went on our first flight together yesterday, and it was amazing! When we got to the airport, I was prepared for the worst, Molly being too big to fly in cabin. I checked in, and paid for Molly's ticket and no one even looked in her carrier. She isn't too large, shes the right size, but shes poofy, so you never know. I arrived 3 hours early, just in case, so we had time to kill. I took her to the pet relief area and she met a few other pups getting ready for flights. Once she was…
