Myles Update

We feel he has a stomach virus. We are waiting out the weekend to see how he does early next week. We realize he is old, and takes longer to get over minor ailments.

I know this sounds bad, but we have no extra money to go to the vet. Hubby is out of unemployment, and all the companies in he area have laid off up to 30 years seniority. Our area is hit hard. Vomiting.....HELP please!

Well tonight has been weird. I was on the computer playing my ever so favorite Word Whomp and was startled by some strange sounds in the house. All the kids were asleep due to the Easter Bunny coming so I thought one of the kids had gotten up. To my horror my beloved Maggie was throwing up everywhere. I noticed huge chunks of the Nylabone (the one for chewers) I had taken away from her because she devoured half of it in 5 minutes (she is a major chewer) mixed in with her food . puppy poo issues =[

So we brought Tigger home today. He is 8 weeks and one day old. He was weaned from his mother at 6 weeks ( =[!!!). when we went to see him at 6 weeks we noticed he had a case of diarrhea. We thought it was caused from the change to hard food. so (two weeks later) we brought him home to find out he has the same issue. so naturally im very worried. the breeder has been feeding him Eukanuba small breed and that's what we were feeding him. he was still sick so i mixed in alittle rice afterwards it… Continue

One Week to Go

It's a little less than a week to go and I can't contain my excitement. I've even made a little desktop calender where I can count down the days till little Phoebe comes home. We recently had tire trouble on our car so all the things we were going to buy in advance will have to wait till "right" before we pick her up (on the 17th), since payday is the 15th. Milo What are you mixed with?

This is Milo. He is 2 years old (approximate.) Behind him is the devastation that was caused by the Weimaraner and the Freya baby. It makes naught a difference if I clean cause but a minute later they trash the house.

A Hello Kitty Hello!

Well it's been awhile and I can say that all is wonderful with Kitty and family! She will have her 2nd birthday on May 20~yayyy! Our Adventures into Obedience Training Part 2

Well, it's been a couple days since our first obedience class that Gryffyn was present for. I thought I'd give an update. Home coming???

He may be able to come home today. An animal shelter advocate (as in he's for the betterment of the place and not making it worse) got me a crate for Mr. Milo and some food to boot! I guess I'll have to get him a collar and leash (if he didn't go to the vet with it on) and some bowls too. Right now he'll just get food in our regular bowl until I have time to go buy him something nice and durable.

Updates on Foster

So Milo is currently still at the vet's office. I was told this morning that they went ahead and treated him with heartworms (which wasn't a bad infestation) and neutered him also.

I'm not sure when I'll get to pick him up. I told the animal control officer the name I gave him (in my head as I never actually called it to his face) and she said its perfect. Introduction

I’m a 56 year old mother of six, and have 14 grandkids. I worked for 18 years with Special Ed. children and loved it and them. I had a back injury, and retired, so I've been blogging for the past few months.

New pictures today!

Lyla's breeder sent me some new pictures of her today. I was so happy to see how she was doing and how big she is now. Her ears have popped right up and she's starting to look like a real Corgi! Pooka's First Trip to the Beach: Photo Blog

Update on Foster pup

The animal control officer called me and told me the quarantine band has been lifted from the shelter yesterday. Woot! She also told me (just a few minutes ago) that she's taking "my baby" to the vet for his check up and if that goes well he will be neutered! I hate that she's calling him "my baby" because I don't want to get attached and I think that's what she's trying to do..the mean woman. He seems like he's a sweetie.

Late Post: Corgi Meetings at the Dog Park!

So this past Sunday we went to the beach. The Sunday before THAT we went to the dog park (my youngest sister and I). So that's how far behind I am.
