I would like to thank everyone for the warm welcome to MyCorgi! Dug and I are enjoying everything and my sister and her Corgi (Dug's brother) will be joining the community very soon. Expect to see a lot of pictures and videos of Dug, and probably some questions on the forums (it is my first Corgi :) ).

I've been lurking mycorgi.com for like a year before deciding to officially bring our own pup home. It was a joint decision between my girlfriend & I. We decided long ago that the Corgi was perfect for us. It's our first dog and it's been completely amazing.

I am basically a ball of incoherent squealing and screaming and twitching right now, but it was AWESOME.  so awesome! they were all adorable and cuddly and fantastic and I WANT THEM ALL!!!

They're having our temperament testing done in 2 weeks, and we're visiting them again January 19th and at that time we will know which one is our little future puppy! I CANNOT WAIT!!!

To all of you who followed my last blog, I would like to update you that pickles came home last night! He is a bit jet lagged and was SUPER thirsty from his flight, but is doing good. Woke up to him cuddled up on my arm with his face near my head. It's like he never left. :). Just gotta get him on a diet. he gained about 11lbs since we had to leave him behind, so 2013 wont be just a diet for his parents lol. anyways he is good and home again! :) Yay! 

We have had Regi for just shy of 9 weeks now. He is our world!

So I finally get to pick up my little butterball tomorrow at the airport. Cannot wait I am soooo excited. I have a few quick questions since it's been so long since I've had a puppy. When would I get his second set of shots? He's 8 weeks old. Also can he be around my golden retriever? I don't know if I should put him in a crate the first night. Or should he sleep with me? And does anybody know of corgi meet ups in the SoCal area? Thanks so much!

I am looking for advice/tips for my aggressive 2.5 year old male corgi Ben. Our household doesn't have any cats or small children. I know that Ben loves to be around kids, and plays with my nephews who live next door. However they mostly play with their dog, and Ben watches from the porch.
