Scout went to stay with her human aunt while Jeremy and I go on vacation. Glad we are leaving early tomorrow, because it was so sad coming home and not having a happy smiling corgi waiting at the top of the stairs. Yeah, Marley the cat is here but a cat just isn't the same. He loved me when his bowl was empty, but I fed him and now he has slinked off to a different room. My corgi would have eaten, then resumed her position at my side. This gives me even more reason to get a puppy within…

Zorro and I have been so busy lately! I'm housesitting from this past Sunday until Thursday. The woman I'm housesitting for has two Golden Retrievers. So far nobody has been hurt, but one of the Goldens is about a year old and so rambunctious and just wont leave Zorro alone! It scares me he will hurt him on accident so I'm constantly on guard. Today we woke up, did the feedings, drove 30 minutes to get home, had lunch. After lunch Joe and I decided to bring Zorro to a local ice cream…

We're pregnant with our first baby! LeeLoo has been an amazing nurse, following me more intently since we found out. She stays with me during the morning sickness and takes advantage of the extended sleeping hours I now follow. We're so excited she will be a part of our family as we welcome a new one into the mix.
This is what made her recent diagnosis of cancer and revelation she's really 10 even harder. We've known for two months we were pregnant and just imagining her not…

Hi.
My Pembroke, Rosie, gets quite scared during all the fireworks during the 4th of July. Are there any suggestions on how to help calm her? I wont be home to help her through this, and if I was, it wouldnt make a difference anyway. Does anyone have any medical resolutions to help calm a corgi through this difficult time?
Thanks,
Jeff

I know I posted about our recent engagement, but I wanted to update with some more fun pictures.
At the beginning of May, we loaded up the car and headed down to Galveston, TX. We rented a dog friendly condo with a nice garden out back.
Then we headed down to the beach. The dogs had never been to the beach before.…

It was looking bleak. The oppressors had been gone for what felt like weeks. My water bowl was dangerously close to the half way point, and I was beginning to feel myself waste away. Dante seemed to have succumbed to insanity as well. He was acting as though the people had been gone for mere minutes. I feared they had forgotten us.
Just as I was feeling my end was near, I heard a familiar sound rumble in the distance! It was them! Oh they hadn't forgotten us after all!…

There are some farm kittens out here, and they're about 4 weeks old now an have started wandering out of the nest. Shippo loves kittens, so I let him lay down and sniff them, but nothing more since they're not old enough to really play. …

I think the people are trying to kill me. They put the dumb one and me outside. Something about having to leave for a little while, and not wanting to find the bed chewed up again. Whatever. They just want to see me wilt in the staggering heat of sunset. Dante doesn't seem to care, but I think he may be a bit simple-minded. The people can just leave me out here, then. It will give me plenty of time to plot my revenge. If I don't succumb to the elements first. (Seriously, don't they realize…

This is like a milestone...for me at least (not the dog for he could care less). I just set up a twitter for Napolean! Haha. Not much, I know, but this is like the first step into the social media circle for us. Right now our only participation in the social network is a youtube page and of course, mycorgi! Well, just blogging about it now. If anyone wants to follow us on Twitter we will follow you back :) Thanks!

Today (Well yesterday but I like to celebrate the dogs' birthday on other holidays so they are easy to remember. The two-legged kids won't let me do that.) is Logan's first birthday! The carrot/peanut butter cake is made and he might get a trip to Petsmart later. Look for more pictures…

Well I've officially had Zorro for three days now and he is just wonderful! There are the normal puppy problems, but other than that he is such a great dog! The first night when we initially put him in his cage he didn't cry, then woke us up at 2:30am. I brought him outside to go potty and when I tried to put him back in his kennel he started crying. I let him out and he fell asleep on the floor next to me and then I put him in his kennel and he whined a little bit, then went to sleep.…

Since Chris and I are horrible at making definate decisions we decided to have Chase pick our wedding date for us!!!
Yes, we left this decision to our 7 month old Corgi. :)
How? You may ask...
Chris and I narrowed it down to the end of May 2013- beginning of June 2013. We wrote those dates down on a piece of paper, tore it into smaller pieces and folded…

http://livestre.am/3XHS8 My first livestream. Sorry if you hear corgi crazyness in the background or Ponies. I'm not versed in this.
Done streaming for now. I did record what I did in case you are curious what you missed.
I will be periodically streaming there. So feel free to check by every once in a while.

WOW! What a difference a couple of days make!
Yesterday morning, Jack didn't want much to do with Felix. Felix wanted to play so badly, but Jack would just growl when he got close and moved away from him. After lunch, I went out to run a few errands (mainly getting more doggie supplies!). When I returned, they were both really excited to see me, and all of Felix's jumping around suddenly inspired Jack to play! They ran around together for several minutes - Jack LOVES…

Happy 7 month anniversary of me having Poppy in my life! I meant to write last month on the 6th, but I was swamped at work and things weren't going to well at hone, so I wanted to wait until it past before updating.
Daycare: I no longer take Poppy to the cheap-on-Tuesdays daycare. On the 3rd week, when I came to pick her up, I always take a look in the pen to see what she is up to before she can see me and I get her. She was curled up in the corner "sleeping" with a cute beagle like…
