So Adora got fixed this morning and is now home with us and doing great, a little to great. The vet and vet tech were very surprised with how well with did. My only thing is that it hasn't even been 12 hours since her sergury and she just woun't sit still. Constantly turning in her crate and wanting to play. She has also already managed to get the cone of, and has already jumped up and off the couch when we opened her crate to go potty she i just to darn fast. but isn't going after her suture… Continue
At long last we are moved into our first house! It's not finished, we still have painting left to do and work on the back yard but we had enough done to move in so we spent our first night there last night.
Finnigan hadn't been there yet and while we were packing up our things from my father-in-law's house where we had been staying a little over a month, you could tell he knew something was up. I drove him to the house and before we went inside I took him for a walk. There's a park… Continue
I have a friend whose dog is being put on the old chicken and rice diet. Vet says they must stay on it. My friend is concerned that this will not give her dog all he needs. Are there certain supplements that should be given on this limited diet to help maintain the dog's health???
I dunno if its just because he is clumsy butAce has hurt both his front paws/legs recently.. I mean he is fine now but sometimes he will limp like he hurt himself... So today he was limping slightly when we got up i was like "Walk it off Ace" Advice i have always gotten for twisting my ankles *proned to doing so* So he hobbled along for a bit then Scrappy excited him so he ran after.. so i figure its not to terrible.. so as payment when mom gets back on Tuesday Im going to ask her if she…
My wife Debbie was cutting up some strawberries this morning to go with her breakfast. Gromit had finished his food and was watching her and since one of the berries was a bit mooshie she tossed it in Gromit's dish. He sniffed it a bit, and began licking it. Deb went back to her work, leaving Gromit unwatched...
Gromit, quietly and unseen, picked up the strawberry and carried it out into the living room onto the carpet and began… Continue
My three Corgi-kids are in their shedding season. We all know how Corgis shed - even though they're short, the amount of hair they shed you wonder how a corgi could shed so much.
Was wondering...would the fur be something useful for the oil spill? Has anyone heard what kind of hair is usable? It would be great if it could do some good (the shedded fur).
My Aunt and Uncle just got back from Europe, and from England they brought me a stuffed corgi...it's wearing a crown and purple cape! It's so adorable I can barely stand it. Now to put it somewhere the real ones won't get a hold of it...I'm sure they'd love to "play" with the new pup!
John Stewart commenting on the state of the government in Great Britain suggested that the Queen appoint one of her corgis to be in charge. Great idea!
We had a Team Low Rider lunch this past weekend, and one of our members is a professional photographer. He offered to take photos of the corgis at his studio after the lunch, since the studio was just up the street.
This is the photo he took...that's my gorgeous baby!
If any of you are in Southern California and want to make an appointment, here is Jeff's website.… Continue
Well today would have been my sweethearts 5th birthday.I used to buy both of my as I called them My boys (my Corgis) a special treat. I did not want the other to feel left out so on each one of their birthdays both got a treat. Instead today I will not be doing that I will attending my first Pet Loss Group meeting at 7pm. I wish that I could stop crying long enough to just finish this but it just is not that easy.I do not know why I am so sad. I feel like I failed him. I spent over 1000.00… Continue

I know Ace seems to be my number one.. But he is actually #3 in the household.. I do not play favorites with my dogs.. But.. Right now my attention is set on Buffy... I came home from work an hour and a half ago to being bitched out by my brothers friend because he had to clean up after her... look she is not your dog i understand we all do.. if you dont want to clean it up then DONT.. but if you do DO NOT yell at me for it.. Charlie is officially back with us! We've had a rocky couple of years, but thankfully things have picked up, we relocated and have our special little girl back where she belongs.. with her family! It's been hard not having her around, and we know her 'brother' (cat) missed her a lot, but I'm happy to announce that she's back home!
We have this great area of land close to our new home and she has so much room to run around and play.. have also been trying to teach her how to…

Maddie has the usual range of dog vocalizations: assorted barks, nervous or excited whines, and the occasional growl.
But Jack makes the weirdest sounds of any dog I've ever owned. Besides the usual barks, yaps, and bark-growls, he has the full assortment of Corgi aroos, monkey sounds and Wooki noises. In this particular video, he's moaning at my husband for not throwing the ball. He normally doesn't pester me, but since it works with my husband, he… Continue
I'm really curious...Annie is 7months old and I want to know how much food everyone else feeds their corgi that is around that age.. also how many times a day and the amount they give them.
Before I was a Dog Mom: I made and ate hot meals unmolested. I had unstained, unfurred clothes. I had quiet conversations on the phone, even if the doorbell rang.…
