I hurt my neck and caused a spasm in my back earlier this week, so my one weekend off this month was sort of ruined for me and my boy. He desperately needed a bath and I couldn't do it. We went to our Petsmart for a grooming trip (his 2nd one ever) and it went SO WELL! He did great on his first one, but he's definitely becoming "all boy" the last week or so (the neuter appointment is in 2 weeks) therefore I had my little worries.
When we (the lady and I) were filling out his…

So, things I've learned thus far.
She horribly needs recall training, yes my little girl has the wanderlust of a kid in a candy factory. I know how to fix this, just 40 degree tempetures are not the time to be out and about for an unknown time.
She needs to learn legs are not a ramp to getting petted, I know people at the dog park don't help this issue, in fact they encourage this rather not so nice behavior. She needs some serious work on this matter.
Playing with other…

Solomon, Solomon, Solomon. What are we gonna do with you. Went to my daughter-in-laws today like I do every Saturday to do my laundry and visit with my Grandkids. They have a weenie dog named Buddy and he is very little and very male. The first week, they had a very little tiff until they got to know each other, ya know the usual sniff and greet! So I figured this week would be a re-meet and everything would be fine. However, when we went in the door…

Hi corgi friends!
My daughter and I made a video with Sidney for a contest for Foxy Treats. It's a facebook contest. If you are on Facebook, would you mind "liking" his video? We'd really appreciate it!

Oh, and the mascot for Foxy Treats is also a corgi - love it!
You can also "like" the YouTube…

I got a status report this morning! Geena delivered 8 puppies (7 boys, 1 girl) on March 10th at 4pm. So far, so good. The pups are showing good signs of health and nursing well.
Welcome to the world, little peanuts!
Geena had a c-section at her vet's office and she's is recovering splendidly post delivery. And I'm told she's taking to motherhood like a corgi to peanut butter.

Our girl Luna is the chattiest dog we've ever met. I just want to share, however, her new hobby: "Wheel of Fortune"
We were Watching the Wheel last night when a contestant said: "I'd like to buy an ' I ' " and Luna said: "Eeeeeeye" I swear she did. (If the camera had been rolling, we would have been rich!)
So, now we've been listening for the other letters she'd like: we've identified her desire for an "R" (Aaawrrrrrrrrrr), as well as how she'd like to…

As we all know, our fur-babies are of the "fun-sized" persuasion. We ended up getting rid of our 4 poster bed, in exchange for a very low king-sized Ikea MALM bed which they can easily jump up on (and pleasurably enjoy hogging the ENTIRE bed). Well....in the mornings after the dogs get their first feeding, our girl will RACE my husband back to bed (he gets up, feeds both corgi's and then feeds our bunny) so she can jump on him and lick his face with appreciative "Thanks for the NOMs"…

I'm pretty sure this is a corgi.
I watch the TV show, Friends. And in the back of Central Perk on certain seasons, there is a painting with this dog. I searched online, and the artist never specifies what kind of dog but I (and I'm sure you will) believe it is corgi.
But anyway, just thought I would share.
Hopefully we will get out on the…

Bear is shedding like CRAZY - notice the sheets and blankets covering my couch. He hates to be brushed, yet when I brush him he just complains like a child, but continues to stay within brushing reach. It cracks me up - no one is holding or restraining him, or making him stay on the couch near the brush, yet he stays. Silly corgis.

Hum,
Maybe I'm spoiling my dog a bit much, but....
I've found a professional nail grinder with foot pedal, I know it would be easier to control and since I've 2 dogs the investment would be worth it I do believe. Now my question is how functional is it to obtain the bits and such required.
I know that Jazmin has not many issues with it as we had her nails done at Petsmart without too much fighting. But would it be worth it...and besides that could use it for my own…

Well, all considered it went well, though as usual it takes one to ruin the experience.
When we got there, she was submissive and all sorts of " I don't know whats going on". After a bit she decided it was fun to play, of course picks a boxer/pit bull puppy to play with which more or less used her as an over sized soccer ball. She held her own though and played nice the whole time. Didn't even nip just sort of mouthed the dog which was impressive to say the least.
She ran her…
