Whew! We just got our electricity reconnected. Due to the horrendous weather that moved through Ohio we were without power since 2:00pm yesterday! We now have a happy little Corgi again. Apparently we were not aware of just how much Cosmo did not like roughing it! His a.c and personal fan are back on! We hope by this time tomorrow he will be speaking to us again!

I have definitely been remiss in writing about the new babies. They are hardly babies any more! It is true that two furbabies are more work, but it's a good kind of work. The past two weeks, however, have been something of a record in my personal roller-coaster rides!

Got back yesterday from an overnight trip to Iowa.  Got to stay in a hotel room and everything!  Everything went pretty smoothly, we ride quietly in the care with a seat belt harness on.  We stayed in a hotel room, and found there was another corgi there!  (In the mirror.)  It was too hot to try to find a restaurant where we could eat outside, so we got to visit with the Chinese food delivery person and be adored by her and one of my daughter's friends.

I was having a conversation with my sixteen year old daughter about friends and relationships.  she is a social butterfly,  flittering around,  always in the thick of the action.  she asked me, "dad, why don't you hang out with your friends?"  my reply,  "that's why i have my corgi."

Just wanted to take a second in order for Cosmo and I to say hello and thanks for such a wonderful site. We found it by accident but have been smiling and chuckling ever since. As everyone out there knows, no-one can smile like a Corgi!!

I got a bell shaped birdseed for the birds in the backyard.  I thought it might amuse Chloe.  Today at agility the trainer noticed that Chloe's eyes did not seem as bright, and she was not as eager.  (  Chloe's favorite day is agility and LOVES it)

While we were there Chloe had a BM, and that had some birdseed in it.  I wonder if the seeds could make her have a real upset tummy? Chloe normally does not have a BM on walks or at agility practice.

Ziggy is home:D

Unfortunately, there wasn't video time, and Ziggy didn't get all crazy happy jump aroundy, but I am happy:) You can tell he did miss me, and I missed him more than crazy, so being back together is awesome:D

So tomorrow my daughter and I are flying to Oklahoma for my sons graduation.  He is graduating from UPTP....(undergrad. pilot training program) He is in the Air Force..so I am super excited.  My only problem is Lilly.....I have my daughters boyfriend staying here with the dogs.  And of course we are expecting a triple digit heat wave here...And to top things off I have never spent the night away from her.  I know she is going to be fine, but I dont have any idea of what to expect when we get…

Did anyone catch the 2nd episode of Bunheads on ABC Family?  There was a cardigan welsh corgi in the later half of the episode. I am not sure if it is a recurring character or not since it is a fairly new show (from the creator of Gilmore Girls so if you like Gilmore Girls  I think you will like Bunheads) but was so excited to see a corgi on tv.

Today is Noodles 7th birthday and we can't imagine our lives without him. Our laptop is dead, but pictures will be taken and posted later on. Since we have evening plans tonight, I made his birthday cake last night and he helped me. My husband took some pictures of Noodles "cleaning" out the 1/4 cup scoop that had the peanut butter in it.
