I entered Sidney's photo (as Thorgi) in People magazine's pet Halloween costume contest, He's first runner up! I was so stoked! Here's a link to the slideshow:

HOME NEEDED FOR MAGGIE MAY - by Mid-November (Birmingham, MI)
We are looking for a loving home for Maggie May, because we are moving Mid-November and cannot take her with us.
Maggie May is a Pembroke Welsh Corgi, 7 yrs old, in good health with all vaccines/shots current. She has a calm and quite demeanor. She almost never barks - only when the door bell rings. She loves to snuggle, and have her belly and ears rubbed. She’s at a healthy weight, and loves to take walks, and run.…

Sutter Brown is a Pembroke Welsh Corgi who owns the Governor of California (Jerry Brown). Sutter has been on a statewide tour to promote the Governor's propostiion. He made it to San Diego, so a bunch of the corgis from our San Diego Corgi Meetup group came to meet him!
Sutter is the one in the center being held by the woman in pink. Sidney is in front, left…

A year ago today, my best friend was born. It has been a crazy year full of worries, the angries, corgi farts, and corgi kisses. I would not change any of it!
Today, we will give Tom one of presents, take him to the park, and feed him a half cup extra of his kibble. On Saturday we will have his birthday bash. I have already made some peanut butter treats, but still need to make some more along with cat treats so that they are not left out. He will also be getting a cake and a…

I haven't been on as much lately, and when I am it has been reading and not much replying (so sorry!).
My husband and I separated mid-July, and things have been rough but getting better.
I do have some happy amidst it all, though! I've been studying, and talking to breeders, and I am working my way to being a full-fledged breeder myself :) I've helped countless dogs during labor before (for pets of family, friends, etc), but Monday I had my first real…

My first two Corgis, Watson & Tinsel, had two litter mates, Holly and Mistletoe. We had the good fortune to meet and photograph Great Aunt Mistletoe, AKA Missy, a couple of years ago before she went to the bridge but I'd never made contact with Holly's…

I bet many in this Pacific Northwest corner of the country were wondering why their neighborhoods were so quiet today. There was no barking coming from yards or houses as the unsuspecting passed by. Silence. What could be wrong? This is not normal. Who is around that will alert us to the presence of strangers or squirrels, or blowing wind if not for the always on guard corgis. Will our neighborhoods be safe again.
Never fear, on this one day a year, all the corgwyn gather in…

It has been a year since I told the Vet it was time! This was suppose to be the toughest decision I would have to make but it wasn't. I knew that it was the right thing to do! Rugby my oldest had been sick for over a week and after two transfusions his blood levels kept dropping and I knew in my heart that he wasn't going to get better. What breaks my heart to this day is the fact I didn't get to tell him Good Bye! Right before Rugby got sick we were suppose to visit my daughter in Erie,…

We got 4 perfect scores out of 5 runs at our last CPE trial. You can tell by the look on Murray's face how much he loves it. It's a blast...I highly recommend it. Takes a bit to get the hang of it, but once you do it's addictive!

So sophie, Chris and I went to the vet so sophie could get her third set of vaccinations. We were referred to Paws and claws in langley, and now we know why. They are absolutely amazing! There was no charge for the initial visit, we only had to pay for the vaccine, the rabies shot, and the ear drops. They also did a full check up without us asking! Checked her joints, ears, eyes, skin, weight, and of course, fleas. And we got a good bill of health! She is apparently the perfect weight for…

The fall fund raiser picnic for Arizona Cactus Corgi Rescue was this past Sunday. There was a great turn out of humans and Corgis, by some counts perhaps as many as 90 Corgis came and went during the day. The weather was ideal and smiles abounded.
Sparkle's brother and sister, Finn and Lacey, came down for the event from Clarkdale, AZ with their owner and…

Ponyo is doing very well. We've taken her on lots of trips with us this year, she's a very good travel dog. She still only tolerates the rabbit, and occasionally antagonizes her, which earns her a thump to the face from Butters' impressive hindquarters.
We've had four baby chickens in a brooder in the living room for a week now, and Ponyo is simultaneously curious and afraid. She wants to check them out sooooo bad, but as soon as I let one out for her to sniff at, she runs away. I…

Hey all!
I keep looking at these cute event pictures of all the Corgi get togethers and I love it! I was wondering if anyone ever has any in Florida? Near the Tampa/Clearwater/Largo area?
Thanks!
