LeeLoo's newest most favorite pastime, while out on her after breakfast potty break, is to sniff the yard for rabbit poop.  If she happens to find some, she gobbles it right up.  This disgusts me and I understand that dogs aren't people, but I'm more concerned about there being something toxic in the poop that will make her sick. 

I've tried to follow her around and nudge her along when she finds a 'stash,' but she just hops on ahead and finds some more.  We live in a semi-wooded area…

So, I've been looking for fun activities for my corgi, and I've run across "Boomer Balls" - Looks like they can be used for herding. I'm wondering if any of you have tried Boomer Balls or something like it and how well your corgi plays with it!

Over the past 12 years or so, we have had the honor of sharing our home with three corgis. Jerry, who was very smart and stubborn. Lulu was an "alpha-female," and very athletic. I just got two Pekin ducks as pets.  They are about half grown.  I got them partly for me as pets, partly (and luckily with good results so far) for Scout to have some mental stimulation and satisfy the herding instinct.  She follows them, gets them into a corner, backs up until they are away from it, then herds them into the next corner.

Well, its Wednesday already and the Foster Babies head back to the Rescue on Friday and then off to their forever homes.  I am hoping that the Mama will have a forever home as well.  The "kids" of course are into a routine, and they are just adorable.  Although my Lilly does not like the Mama dog.  It isnt over the puppies, it is over me.  So after 2 dog bites (broke the skin both times) and keeping everyone separated, and happy....I have to say it isnt gonna be as sad as I thought to take…
