Finally - pictures!

Hello everyone, I finally figured out how to upload pics to my page - hope I don't bore you with all of them. Once I figured out how to do it, I just couldn't stop myself. Easter Sunday

It's me, Sidney the Corgi again! Today my people were away in the morning and afternoon, so I got some serious naptime in. Good thing too, because when they got home they said it was walk time! Naming a pup

Names??? Since the Queen has these darling little dogs, and our family heritage is from England and I LOVE London, and all things English, I wanted a name that makes me think of that country. One time I was visting Portsmouth, England on business, and met the sweetest l ittle girl named Lucy.

My first blog

OK, so I've never done this before, but there's a first time for everything!

Sidney came to live with us on January 4th 2008. Now he is 8 months old and he's quite the character.

MyCorgi.com is 1/2 yr old!!!

Today is MyCorgi's 1/2yr old "birthday"! 1/2yr old in MyCorgi's age equals to 3.5 years old in human age! ; )

24 hours to go!

Well in twenty four hours we will be just about to pick up our new puppies. Last night we bought all the necessary accoutrements, although I am sure we will think of plenty more things soon enough! After we pick them up we'll be heading straight to my parents' house for Easter. Excited to find out the puppies are here!

St. Patrick's Day was an exciting day for our family! We found out the puppies have arrived!

There are seven pups. Some are red and white, and some are black and white and will end up being red headed tricolors.

They will be going to the vet on Thursday, and we are eager to hear how they are doing and if they are boys or girls.

We told our two boys that we'll be getting one of these puppies!

My other dog, Toby :o(

I posted last month when the cat that I had left behind when I moved was euthanized.

I had also left behind a dog, Toby, 14 years old. He was a Sheltie/Collie mix. Such a sweetheart!

My parents went to Belize for my aunt's wedding, and while they were gone Toby was apparently not eating at all. He usually didn't eat as much when my parents were gone, but this time he hardly ate anything for the week. Friday is the last day to vote for the most loveable pet in Rochester, and Emmy is currently in 5th place out of over 230 entires! Thank you to all of my buddies at mycorgi that have voted for her!! So sad.

We just lost our little corgi, she was only 8 months old and she got hit by a car.

Her name was Meara which means mirthful, and like her name she was happy. She somehow got out of our fenced in backyard and I'm sure was joyfully running across the road. Thank you for your well wishes. I really need to get some pictures of my Corgis on here, she was always so happy in her pictures. My boys, corgis as well, don't seem to care.

My insane corgi that has the most spunky mind I have ever seen is now....well I really don't know where she is now. Probably running around with my moms Maltipoo or chewing on her bone. She was just sleeping on my shoulder a little bit ago. What a goober!

Happy to belong to Corgi Lovers

I know everyone thinks their pet is the best but I feel so attached to my little Corgie and wish everyone could have a Corgie "experience." It is so much fun to see everyone's Corgi pictures and videos. It just gives me the warmest feeling inside. I don't beleive you could find a cuter puppy than a Corgi. my smart doggy

winnie has finally learned down pretty well, though its funny now when you tell her to sit and she'll go half way into a down look up realize she isn't getting treated and then sit down with this accomplished look like "well if she didn't want the first one she'll be happy with this"

she is walking pretty well on the lead, and her come is getting better, we are also using a clicker with the come as she seems to really respond to the click when she is off leash in our back… Continue

AKC Louisville Cluster Agility Trial

Well, Dally's AKC agility debut was a BIG success!!! Out of the four day trial, we entered only Saturday (NOV A STD and NOV A JWW) and Sunday (NOV A STD). Out of the three classes, we earned 3 Qs (Qualifying scores, or "legs" of a title) and 3 first places in the 8 inches!!

Ugly duckling to beautiful swan

Alright, now that I'm finally back in North Dakota, I posted some pictures of Oakley, as a puppy, for all of those who don't believe that she could have been an ugly puppy.
