Bummer, I want to play but am limping :(

Well, yesterday late afternoon Tucker and I were playing and it got a little bit rough, so we were stopped from playing and both went and laid down to rest. When I, (Lance) went to get up, I didn't put any weight on my front right paw and then immediately laid down and rolled over on my back looking at Mom wit those sad eyes.

Hoping that the limp goes away and I will soon be able to do all the fun things again like walking, and playing. It is getting pretty boring just…

Happy Easter

What a beautiful Easter morning, out for two walks, one with each dog. Lance enjoying my nieces Easter basket, thinking its for him, I mean who else could it be for, lol. He was a bit bummed when I finally wrapped it as he was following me the whole time I had that basket. No baskets for Lance and Tucker this morning but they got their Easter presents early this year, Tucker a nice new comfy bed (that they both enjoy) and and each got a new leash. :)

Guess What!?!?

I'm so excited, I found out today that my new coworker has owned corgis.

Unfortunately, there is a sad part of the story, her corgi passed five weeks ago at the age of 12!! :(

Of course you all know how over excited we both were to find out that we both have had corgis :) I told her about this site of course, maybe over time she will eventually get a new corgi and join mycorgi.

Snow Dog

We were finally were able to get outside and play in all that snow that fell recently. It had been so cold this weekend that the snow had actually become solid, yikes!!!

Lance had lots of fun tunneling his way through the snow, it was so cute. I havent seen him do this before, so it was extra cute to me. :) We were outside for an hour and the majority of his time was spent making tunnels. Where Does The Time Go? Lance Is Four Today!!!!

It seems like just yesterday we brought Lance home!

We are enjoying having Lance as part of our family. Lance got to go to his first corgi meetup back in March of this year. It was so much fun getting together with other corgi friends. I couldnt stop taking pictures.

Two Tired Doggies

Right now as I sit here and type this blog, I am listening to two tired dogs panting away. Chicagoland Corgi Meetup March 2009.... My Pictures Finally!!!!

Happy 3rd Birthday Lance!!! October 30, 2008

Eewww...Eating mouthfuls of dried cut up grass!

Okay so we have been walking in the neighborhood past the school where they cut the grass but leave behind the clippings. Well Lance just thinks that is the best treat ever! He will keep eating chunks of it. It is like he cant get enough of it! I do notice that his poop has been firmer since he has been eating the chards of grass.

I have heard that eating grass settles their stomach and can make them throw up. Lance does not throw up from eating grass and never has. Lance has eaten… Continue

A Proud Moment

So today Lance and I took a short walk before I had to go to work. We came back and sat on the front porch for a little while and down the block is a lady pushing a wheel chair. Lance was watching the whole time. He started to bark and I told him to settle down and he did. Rainy Days Dilema

Well as you know it has been quite rainy, its nice to see the grass getting some water but enough is enough. Lance doesnt like going on wet grass he puts on the brakes, all paws are glued to the cement!!
