Its almost here! Ive been on the edge of my seat for what seems like forever...Only five more days until I get to hold my little Nugget!!! Lindsay has been in touch with me almost every day and sending me pics. I'm so glad I stuck with her, she has helped me along the way so much. I'm sure it will be worth every second of the wait! Ive been spending my free time making bandanas and bowties for the little guy. I'm crazy...I know. But the title Crazy Corgi Lady is something I'm not ashamed…

Wrapping up the 2014 financial debacle, my English-major math revealed that this disastrous year racked up $9,723 in unplanned and "extraordinary" expenditures. Part of that was...hang onto your hat...TWO THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED AND TWENTY-SIX DOLLARS for Ruby the Corgi Pup. And fifty-one cents.
Holeeee mackerel! This is not my first pup, and so yes, I do know that puppies are expensive. But is this ridiculous or not?
Part of it piled up when she got a series of…

Happy First Birthday Watson! He has been the happiest dog ever. All things are fun and interested him. We have had a tough year with my cancer diagnosis but the joy, love and laughs he provides has helped us focus on the important things in life. He wasn't the dog I started looking for. Originally I was waiting for a pup from a breeder that I had developed a good relationship…

My ( grown) son's Corgi got hit by a car Sunday. He will survive but his leg is in bad shape and there a possibility he could lose it or be very lame...time will tell. I'm posting this to reaffirm how great dog people are. I posted on Facebook that we were looking to borrow an XL wire crate or X-pen to put him in as he gets more active....he is in a splint so our crates are not large enough. Within probably 20 minutes I had offers from friends of 3 x-pens and a crate! We compete in…

Hey guys! Not sure how many of you out there have a corgi that loves to de-squeak, de-fluff or just tear apart their toys, but my dog Gizmo does and it has become quite the wasteful hobby buying him squeaky toys. Most products last no more than 15 minutes with him.
Anyways, I started having Gizmo try out some toys as a part of a weekly product review column I write for my job. We had yet to find a winner, until I stumbled across the Kong Jumbler Football Toy. I can't recommend it…

I'm so happy with the success of my books on Amazon.com! Thanks to all the corgi fans out there! Tongue twisting alphabet fun with Koby Jack and Bogart and Counting shapes and color fun with Koby Jack and Bogart are keeping children entertained. I want to share their blog with you the website is theadventuresofkobyjackandbogart.weebly.com.
Koby Jack is prob the best dog in the world in my opinion! He puts up with my little two year old poking him and pinching him. He would…

Another happy ending for a Humane Society Corgi. There is a long story as to how Cody ended up there BUT he is now home with his new brother Parker and the neighbor dog Captain. Within 15 minutes of texting former Corgi people who got pups from me...Cody had a home! He had a long distance to travel with me and then with his new owner but he's got a great…

Hi everyone! Only 14 more days left! Making some last adjustments to the house and trying to get everything in order for the arrival. First off, I'd like to thank everyone for the great advice, each one of your inputs truly helps! Which brings me to my next point...I have a few questions!
1. Furminators. I understand I need one and I was looking at getting the Medium Long Hair model with the vacuum attachment. I found it on amazon for 40.95. Have any of you used it before?…

Nothing is so terrifying as coming home from your spouse/your 30th birthday party to find your house robbed and your corgi missing. (Also finding a man unconscious in the snow just up the block). Luckily I had Saber microchipped and some Good Samaritan found her and took her to the vet. From the sounds of it, likely she heard them kicking the door down. She probably then popped open the guest room door (I'm so glad she knows how to open doors) and hid under the bed. They left the patio…

17 More days until the little Nugget comes home! I can't wait! Sometimes I feel like its way too long to wait, and other times I feel like I don't have enough time to get everything done! LOL! Im just nervous/excited I suppose. My next venture is finding a vet for my little guy. As a first time dog owner I can easily be taken advantage of, and being new to the area makes it even worse. Yuma is sort of in the middle of nowhere and care is sort of limited...to my knowledge at…

I'm new to MyCorgi so I'm not sure how this works. My poor little dog Hailey needs surgery and I am trying to reach out and use every resource I have to help get the word out. I have set up a fundraiser page on youcaring to try to raise money for her. CorgiPals is also trying to help. You can learn more about Hailey's story and donate at www.youcaring.com/pleasehelphailey or go to CorgiPals.org she is currently the only Hailey on…

Please keep good thoughts for Katie tomorrow. She has a growth on her right front leg and it's being removed. It doesn't feel like a fatty cyst but it's not attached to the bone so that is good. The vet wasn't sure so he wants to remove it and then send it to pathology.
Katie will be 11 next month, she is such a sweet girl...loving and a total velcro dog. Your good thoughts will be much appreciated.

Happy New Year! And a hilarious Corgi New Year to you.
Hereabouts we're ringin' in the New Year with a big, soggy rainstorm. Cassie the Corgi, as we know, loathes and detests water, especially if it's inclined to get on her. Until this morning, it looked like Ruby the Corgi Pup was going to be the same way, presumably having learned her hydrophobia from her sort-of role model.
But no.
Ruby has learned to use the doggy door. Cassie still declines,…

Watson is 11 months now and such a joy! Unfortunately my Christmas tree has been quite a novelty for him. His fence we used when he was younger has come in handy. In spite of my battle with cancer I have continued with his training. A little slower than planned but he is a very happy go lucky guy so things are going well. He still makes us laugh regularly and is very…

Well its been crazy thus far..
Went to see my Nugget on Sunday only to leave and have a sudden onset of flu like symptoms! The three hour car ride home was spent praying my throat wouldn't close. I know what youre thinking, and no, I don't believe that I'm…
