On Saturday I picked Rowan up at 11am. It was just he and I on the 45 minute drive home. He spent 20 minutes of it making the most ear shattering racket my ears had yet been blessed to hear. After finally falling asleep he allowed me to snap some crooked cellphone pictures of him. Yes, while driving, and all the more unsafe thanks to my touch phone but the only thing we might have hit was a wall of snow or a cow-cicle, well..Maybe just a cow since it was a steamy 23 degrees out! HEAT WAVE!!!…

My boy Wyatt!! he's so good....loves the snow we got 20 inches here in northern Jersey this past Friday...he been having a blast running and jumping in it.
Wyatt just turned 6 months old and he's teething like crazy...he has gone through at least 8 toys, ripping the squeakers out of them...and has destroyed 2 beds...I have resorted to freezing old wash clothes and letting him chew on them...seems to help. His right ear which was flopping is now standing pretty much all the time, except when…

3 Ft of snow = Happy corgi!
Jackson didn't know what to expect one morning when he peeked around the door. But waiting for him was 3 ft of snow! As soon as we let him out the door, he ran and "snow tunneled" all across the yard. Later, after everyone was inside, he came and joined us for some hot chocolate (but of course, he didn't have some). We were watching him walk around the house, very slowly, and suddenly, he just plopped right on the floor, and fell asleep! We laughed so hard!…

I know my little guy is teething, but what can I do to discourage the random "snapping?" I was talking to him, which he liked, but then he started just snapping the air. I usually try to shove his Nylabone Keys or one of his soft toys in his mouth (especially in between his teeth and my flesh! Ouch!)
Are ice cubes safe for an almost three month old puppy? I know it really helped our Jack, but I forget how old he was when we started letting him have them.

a hound and an orangutan
Copper liked it. Watched the whole video with me. He keeps looking around my lap top to try to find the people and the hound lol. Cop is weirdly lovey dovey today! I like it. lol

I live in northeastern Ohio and I'm sure everyone knows this as the snow belt. Well, I got news! I'm moving! lol I don't know where to yet but I'm sick of this. It is literally a blizzard outside right now and Copper thinks it is the most opportune time to go out and bite, eat and play with the snow. I tried to explain that he is not a baby polar bear, I am not a mama polar bear or an eskimo!
I also wanted to share this funny story to see if anyone else has corgi play like…

The last picture of the two of them I posted was from November, decided it was time for something more current.
This is Goldy in her new thin sweater as an option for her surgery recovery - I've never put clothes on either of them, so I put it on her tonight to let her get used to it in case we need it...who knew she would look sooo cute it in?
And of course this is Bear next to her - laughing at her.…

Let me first off start by saying that I have been battling depressing for nearly ten years. No medicine has helped; in fact, it does the exact opposite for me and makes it worse. Therapy only put a dent in the situation and never helps for long.
That is until I got my puppy. He really does know when I have my bad days, and when those occur, he tries his best to cheer me up. It never fails to work. He does the goofiest things from time to time and never ceases to amaze me. I am really…

I am some what new to the whole cardigan show thing. I do not show dogs or do any agility or herding training though I would like to start with basic training with Le-Le. I went to a local dog show recently and heard about the National in Gettysburg which is at the end of April. I put it on my calender and can not wait to go see all the great dogs. On the first weekend there is a herding dog competition in Birdsboro, PA which is so much closer for me than Gettysburg. So I am heading there for…

What a handfull. My first time having a dog, never mind having a puppy is going alot better than expected, though there has been a number of bumps in the road, which were far from plesent.
My first blog was about my puppy who one day desided no more peeing on puppy pads. And desided to tear it to shreds and eat it. Well all is good and it passed with no complications.
Next she desided to figure out how to just puppy gates. Came home one day and was greeted at…

So what do you clean up first? The dog or the floor?
Hear is what happened. A case of Dr. Pepper was sitting on the floor, a piece of cat food was dropped and had landed in the box, so Quin was trying to get it out (of course) and she poked a can either with her tooth or with a nail. So DP is spraying all over and she is standing right in front of it and once she realized it tasted good she stayed there to lick it up. Now I have a dog full of DP…

Mom's at work today so J and I have taken notes and watched real hard to find out how she gets to this site share stuff.. We're very smart and all being corgi's of course. Thats why she calls us brats and we did attempt to figure out what that meant by getting Mom's book of words out but you know there was a noise and then J and I got distracted by the time we went back we'd both agreed we must have meant to eat the book of words so we did, because corgi = brat and that must be a very good…

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who has given us advice about what to do for Murphy's allergies. We have decided to take your advice and go food shopping for Murphy. I had been doing research on grain-free and trying to find different places that carry Canidae, we found an Ag center that said they did, but they didn't have the flavor we were looking for. We have not only decided to go grain-free, but also to eliminate Chicken and to look for a food that has Salmon or other fish, just…

So Goldy is getting fixed on Friday and I DREAD putting an ecollar on her, even an inflatable one - it's bad enough to be in pain, but in a freakish collar HAS to make it worse.
So here's my idea: can I put a little doggie shirt on her? Maybe something similar to a baby's onesie? Something light and thin that won't get her too hot and will prevent her from licking.
I realize that she can chew through it if she focused on it, but I will be with…
