Seanna had to go to her annual check up today. She passed with flying colors, except for her eyes. I mentioned that for awhile now, every once and awhile, you can see a sort of haze on her right eye--it's not deep enough to be a cataract. Sometimes you can see it straight on really well, other times you have to look really hard to see it. Today you can just look and see it. Baxter had his third agility class last night. I missed writing about the second one, so I'll just give the highlights:

• Baxter started off with a single jump that was to be wrapped and followed by a second. On his first try, we successfully jumped once and wrapped to the next jump. The trainer was impressed!

Today Sidney is having his FHO surgery to relieve the pain from his luxated hip joint caused by hip dysplasia. It was a tearful goodbye this morning, but I know he is in excellent hands. They will call me later this afternoon, and I should be able to bring him home tomorrow.
